It covers Grey's which is awesome! The maintenance honestly depends on you. Black shades always require a lot of work but the basic maintenance is easy just wash your hair in cold water and don't use sulfate shampoo. It does leave your hair soft and healthy.

Need two boxes for thick, long hair

Was OK. I’m showing before and after and it took to my hair a little bit, but it didn’t cover all of my grades in the front of my hair. I have thick hair so maybe I need two boxes. But I do see in the after photos with me holding the hair color box that it’s been changed just not the way I expected it to be. I didn’t style my hair so this was after the color and letting it air dry. For me, I will not get it again and if I decided to, I would at least need two boxes. I am grateful that I was able to try this for free from influencer but I know because I have thick care I need two boxes if I wanna dye my hair.

Not coverin grays and don’t see much difference in color

But I guess for my thicker asian hair, I should have waited another 10 mins or so. I dye my hair because of greys around my face line and started dying from that area too but greys weren’t dyed properly and seemed similar to before. I was expecting something like brighter brown but it barely made darker brown. Before left and after right photo
However because there’s no ammonia, damage wasn’t visible. And the shampoo and the conditioner makes your hair feel very soft. I wish I can only buy those two - shampoo and conditioner. The effectiveness of the hairdye is almost nonexistent. Maybe 20% max?

The finish looks glossy and gives you great coverage. You have to read instructions on how long to keep it on as with any other hair dye. Fall’s New Hair Color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to go a little darker for fall so I chose L’Oréal’s Universal Nudes in Brown 5N. I love the fact that this dye does not have ammonia in it. I was able to close my bathroom door without feeling like I’m breathing in harmful fumes. I did have some grays mainly on the top, front and sides of my head so I was really hoping this would cover them. When mixing the color it had a thinner consistency than what I’m used to, but I felt that consistency helped absorb into the hair a lot better. There was a slight fishy smell to the product but it wasn’t anything that was super overwhelming. After applying the product I let the dry sit for about 30 min. The box suggested 20, but I lost track of time. After removing the product I applied the shampoo and conditioner that came in the box. They had a nice smell to them. They left my hair feeling soft and silky. I did notice some dye stained my skin but it wasn’t super noticeable. My hair dried into a dark brown with slightly red color. I was not expecting it to be so dark, but I actually love the color. I will definitely purchase this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had very brassy copper colored hair before I used this, so I didn't know what to expect after coloring, but I'm so pleased! It completely covered the copper color with no redness visible. The only word of caution I have is the color is darker than what is depicted on the model on the box. But the results swatches on the back of the box look darker (to me), so base your results on that, not the model. My hair looks shiny and feels good. The dye didn't saturate my grays, but made them look more like caramel highlights. But I also have low porosity hair, so it's always been notoriously resistant to hair dyes anyway. But for me, this is as good as it gets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not bad I needed two to three boxes to do my whole head. But I went ahead and used the one on my roots to see the outcome. You can tell it’s blonde where my greys were but it didn’t lighten the brown much. Definitely need more product to achieve a whole look.
