This is my go to when I don’t have time to dye my hair. The precision nozzle makes it easy to target the Grace and one application does the job. Am I experienced the coverage hold up for about a week before I need to touch up? I keep two bottles on standby because a quick spray makes me feel like I’ve shaved 10 years off my look!

It does not have a strong chemical odor which I really appreciate. It goes on smoothly and feels nice and light, like nothings there. Just beware it does stain you hands if you put your ✋️ hand up by you hair. My daugthers wanted black hair for awhile now and with magic root being a one wash product I say its great if your thinking of dying you hair to try this out first. It gives you a chance to see if you like the color on you first before committing. I would recommend magic root touch up for touch up for grey's and also for testing hair colors out. It's a win win.

I thought I would give this a try and it did not disappoint. It’s fairly easy to use however it was a bit tricky getting the front of my crown line. I am sure I need some practice in this area. Wanted to love it but fell short.

And if it overlaps gets even darker. So if you’re expecting blonde this would ruin your day. Dries very quickly and wipes off the skin with ease. No offensive smell.

A quick fix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need a quick fix, this product might be just the thing. I don’t have a sensitive scalp - but when I used this product, my scalp turned red. Also, if you have thin hair, be prepared for your scalp to become heavily colored. The dye washed out of my hair more easily than it did from my scalp.

No stickiness but does feel like a hair spray on hair and gives her volume when you spray the sections on top and sides . Very easy to apply just spray the root area section hair and I brush it a little so it blends into hair . Comes in many shades .

I ended up looking pretty splotchy. I could probably figure it out but the drips all over the counter and the stained fingers after running my fingers through my hair leave me preferring to just deal with the grays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Get the right color! I got dark blonde because I didn’t see an option for a lighter blonde, I guess I assumed it was lighter than it is. I don’t really have grays to cover so was planning to use this more as a way to extend root touch ups at the salon. I’m very overdue and actually going to get my roots lightened tomorrow, so was hoping this was slightly lighter but it’s literally the color of my dark roots! Haha. So I’d call it more of a light brunette, dark dirty blonde color. The pictures are before and after, and they definitely blend into that color, and I did a quick spritz on my very light ends to show a color comparison in case someone else mistakenly thinks it’d be lighter than it is like I did. Once dry, it lasted and kind of felt similar to a dry shampoo on my hair. I think the way that it clung to and colored the lighter hair, I could see this totally working well on grays, just make sure you get the right color for you!

I was scared that there would be black spots on my scalp but thankfully there wasn’t any. It did way my hair down a little but not anything crazy. In the beginning I did feel a little itch coming in but then it stopped. I do have very sensitive skin so that’s probably why. The coverage was pretty good but as you can tell there is still some grays showing. I tried to cover the grays up as much as I could but that’s all it could over. Overall I think it’s great for a quick little cover up.

Well I dropped it on the floor several times and I didn’t break the top or the little applicator that it sprays out of. It’s a very watery consistency. Think of if you spray a aerosol hairspray on your hand it is very messy. I recommend using a board or something to guide where you want this to be and following up with a hairspray to seal it and it lasts like a day if you sweat a lot use more hairspray. I hope this review was helpful.

Extremely hard to get out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was excited to try this because my roots are growing out so you can see all my grays. I got the dark brown and I sprayed it and it looked good! I was happy. It covered my grays well. Then I took a shower that night. The next day I touched the top of my head and dark pieces came off on my hand. My hair was gray but there was some residue. I was like I guess I didn’t wash it good enough. So I took another shower. Afterwards I could still feel residue on my hand and a little bit of the brown came off on my hand. I took another shower and scrubbed it really good. Still residue. And I’m freaking out because I have a hair appointment coming up. So long story short I try dish soap, which doesn’t work. I tried olive oil and that got it out! I don’t think I would use this again because that was crazy how hard it was to get out and almost had to cancel my hair appointment. I would use it if it actually came out in the shower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely impressed with how beautifully the L’Oreal Mac chic root cover up touch spray covered my visible scalp and roots, especially when applied to freshly washed air-dried hair. The coverage looked natural, blended beautifully with my hair, and held up very well indoors. Unfortunately, the staying power was disappointing, and the heat the product actually ran down my face. It also transferred onto my baseball cap, clothing, and pillowcase. I noticed that touching or scratching my scalp caused the product to flake off and collect underneath my fingernails. I really wanted to love this product because the initial results are fantastic, and the difference in coverage was immediately noticeable. However, a touch up spray needs to withstand everyday activities without constantly transferring or coming off. Overall, excellent coverage, but disappointing durability. I would consider using it again for short indoor occasion, but I would not trust it in hot weather or fall for in all weather wear day
