Rash/swollen eyes

I like this mascara until I try to take it off. I just had to research to see if it is waterproof. It doesn’t come off easily Andy eyelids have reacted to the mascara where they became swollen with a rash. I have not worn mascara for several days and now looking for another mascara that my eyes won’t react to.

Not happy

I bought the primer and the mascara, unfortunately it flaked off my lashes. Also went on the top of my lids as well as under my eyes. As my day went on it just kept getting worse.
It did lengthen my lashes!

I bought 2 of the lash paradise both were used within a two month peroid and became thick and clumpy I only put mascara on 3-4 days a week Have always used L'oreal At $18.98 each I have
been telling people to avoid product Never had issues with other L'oreal mascaras that sell for
much cheaper I spoke to a product rep one day at a drug store and she just implied I must be doing something wrong, leaving the cap off etc After 50+yrs of mascara use I do know how to work a tube of mascara

Do not use if you have sensitive eyes.

So I absolutely love this mascara and one of the few left that doesn't have the silicone brushes which I hate. I've tried others, and always came back to this one. So it used to be 5 stars for me.
BUT for a few years now I have been having serious eye issues off and on like extreme watering, burning, discomfort, sensitivity to light. Was given prescription eye drops from my eye doctor, took allergy meds as everyone kept saying allergies, but couldn't pinpoint to what as it wasn't always just during normal allergy seasons and it was only my eyes that bothered me. It was random. I recently switched my mascara when I read online that they changed their formula a few years ago and turns out they added some floral oil or something.
I haven't had issues since I switched my mascara so this mascara had to be the problem. It's not as good as this one of course, but this is not worth the problems I was having with it. So, unfortunately I can no longer purchase. :(

Not good design. Will not purchase again.

I just got this mascara and am very disappointed with it. The tube doesn't have one of those things that keeps the wand from being gloopy with too much mascara, so it is very difficult to apply without gluing my lashes together. The worst part is that I think the brush applicator on the wand looks like it is very good, but everything else is just bad. Very disappointed and will not purchase again.

used to be a great mascara

i have been a faithful user of this mascara since highschool, but I can confidently say this mascara is not what it used to be. not sure if ingredients changed, but it does absolutely nothing for your lashes and takes multiple layers just to get a voluminous effect, then dries out and no longer usable after a few uses. i also decided to try the brown black and my eyes itched so bad the entire day and felt sore the next, not sure whats up with that but so disappointed.

This is really the best mascara I've ever tried. I've tried A LOT. I debated using the Loreal lash primer I have, but I wanted to see what it could do on its own. WOW. Never buying another mascara again. Thick, long, full, and best of all NOT CLUMPY. The conditioners in it are a PLUS.

Bad reaction to product

I have used Lash Paradise for years, but switched to Paradise Big Deal #775. After two days my eyes are so swollen I can’t put makeup on today. I have never experienced this while using the regular Lash Paradise. My eyes are burning and itching like crazy.

The wand is horrible. It should not be considered a brush in any way. There are no clearly visible bristles. The end came out with clumps of product on it. It is not usable. I have no idea how this is on the shelf. It is a total rip-off.

Allergic Reaction

I have purchased the blackest black multiple times and love it. Recently I decided to try the brown Mascara. There has to be something different in the formula despite the ingredient list being the same, as after 2 days of wearing the brown my eyelid was bruised feeling. I must have had an allergic reaction to whatever is in the brown. Stopped using it and within 2 days the soreness is gone.

gooey and clumpy

i bought a 3 pack of this mascara at costco . the first one was clumpy so i thought it was just a bad container. i opened the second one and it is just as bad , clumpy and sticking the lashes together . so disapointed in the product. i usually buy l,oreal voluminous mascara so i guess i will switch back. marie

I used this mascara this morning and by afternoon my eyes were burning. I used eyedrops and it was worse. I wiped the mascara off and now my eyes are fine. So I am allergic to something in it.

Formula change

My mom and I have been using the lash paradise mascara for years now. We have loved this mascara for so long however, it seems recently there has been a formula change this has caused us both to be left with burning surrounding the eyes and dry flaky skin. The old formula would get a 5 but this one deserves a number in the negatives with how bad it is.

Packaging Issue

I accidentally grabbed this instead of the waterproof which I usually use but this is just as good! The problem isn’t the mascara itself but the paint on the tube came off and got all over my hands because I didn’t notice until after I got done doing my lashes. I’ve only had this for less than a month so I’m not sure what happened.

I absolutely love the formula because it can actually keep my straight eyelashes up. What I don’t like about it, is that it makes my lashes clump together unless I wipe a lot off, and then I have to apply more layers for it to give me volume.

I would give this a million stars if that were an option. Mascara, love it. You name it, I've tried it. High end, drugstore, all of it. I continue to repurchase this mascara over all of my other ones. When I want a great lash day (every day), I pick this up. In my opinion, it far exceeds the high end version. I enjoy this mascara very much. It gives me fluffy and full lashes. Love it. I do put a little of a darker mascara over it to darken it up. No complaints from me, though. Every time I try a new mascara, it never adds up to this one.

Seriously, I don't know why there are so many negative reports about this mascara. I love it. I bought the brownish because you can hardly see my eyelashes they are so fair and black is just too harsh at my age so the color is perfect. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how well this product stayed put and looked natural while still separating and lengthening my lashes. It came off easily at the end of the day and left no irritation. It's staying in my purse as a quick no makeup makeup look staple! I wouldn't ever have purchased a brown mascara for myself but I found I really liked how subtle it looked.

Better after a nap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weird to say but I wasn't a fan of this mascara when I put it on. I normally use "they're real" from benefit so I do prefer a more drastic look. This mascara was more to enhance a natural look which took some time away from a mirror for me to enjoy how I looked wearing it. Once adjust though I love it. No smearing even through a nasty break up on the 4th of July and it lasted all day and night without making my eyes burn (I have sensitive eyes and that's a common issue with mascara) I would definitely buy it again for my summer looks
