How to apply the hair colour?
- Do an allergy test 48 hours before using product.
- Apply the Protective Colour Cream and leave on for 25–45 minutes, depending on the desired result.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Apply the Caring Shampoo and rinse.
- Finish with the Caring Deep Conditioner, then rinse.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Take the allergy test 48 hours before colouring your hair. Dyeing your hair: Starting at the root, apply the mix to dry, unwashed hair. Wait and let it sit 20 minutes before applying to the lengths of your hair.
2. Dyeing your hair: Now apply the mix to the lengths on your dry, unwashed hair. Wait and let it sit for 10 minutes. Total application time should be 30 minutes between your roots (20) and your lengths (10).
3. Rinse everything dye off until hair clear of product.
4. Apply the Caring Shampoo located in the box and rinse. Apply Caring Deep Conditioner located in the box. Leave in for 3 minutes and then rinse.

It did not dry my hair out, and the application was easy and the directions step-by-step were easy to follow. It did not stain my hands at all when rinsing and after application did not drip. I think maybe a gradual approach when lightening darker hair colors would be more effective. I liked the product and would recommend it highly for lighter natural hair color for best results.

The gloves are really well made in this one and didn't break. The directions were easy to understand and I like the new locking feature on the dye color. I feel like it also doesn't have as strong an odor as it did before. It covers greys really well and it doesn't take much to do it. I had to take off one star because for some reason, the shampoo is TINY. A little goes a long way, but there's no reason for shrinkflation to affect how much shampoo I get. You're going to need your own in order to use this kit.

Although the formula is thinner, it's still thick enough that it doesn't make a mess. Kit comes with the standard & root comb applicators, a shampoo & conditioner. The conditioner is amazing-as always. The shampoo smells divine & get the hair squeaky clean without removing dye. Wish they would sell this shampoo in stores! Covers greys very well. Not sure what the HA is doing cause I don't notice more nor less damage with it added. Because the creme isn't as thick as the other formula, 1 box is enough for short-medium hair length if its not thick.

They say it delivers 100% gray coverage while protecting and hydrating the hair. The three-step routine has a protective coloring cream with a pro-keratine complex to protect and nourish hair as it colors. The provided shampoo has a mild pH formula infused with hydraulic acid to gently cleanse the scalp and hair of excess residue right after rinsing. The deep conditioning mask is infused with hydraulic acid to seal the hair cuticles which is supposed to lock in 3x more moisture for smooth, radiant, long lasting color.
My results:
I was letting my gray grow out but I didn't like the look. I have a good amount of gray and it did cover all of it
The color is beautiful. I'm normally very dark at a 3 NN but I wanted to go lighter so I opted for a five medium brown and it turned out beautiful.
It was gentle on my scalp which I very much appreciated.
It's a cream but not like the thick creams that barely mix with the developer. This is an ideal consistency to easily mix and apply, but thick enough that you don't get drips.
I love the comb applicator. It's similar to a wide tooth comb and slid through my thick hair smoothly, making sure I easily covered all the strands.
This product is easy to use and it left my hair feeling healthier than it did before I dyed it. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So just to start off I want to say that I have very dark hair so it is very hard for a box die to make a huge impact. However, I can’t say it most definitely covered all the grays as I’m starting to notice more and more sadly. I would also like to know that it does sound on the back. If you have long hair, they recommend using two kits, and it’s not their fault, but I do have very long hair that is way beyond the middle of my back, so I also didn’t have enough of the product to thoroughly really saturate every strand. The smell is not at all overbearing and honestly was a huge improvement from some I’ve used before where I couldn’t breathe because of the chemical smell. I give this a solid four out of five and I would definitely recommend this product and I would purchase it as well!

I usually purchase the black in L’Oréal, but I want to go lighter!! The smell isn’t super strong like other brands. The application is easy. Half my head I used Vaseline around my hairline and the other half I left bare. The color came off super easy on the half that was bare! The shampoo and conditioner is smells soooo good!! If I could buy an entire bottle of the conditioner itself I would.
Now, the color didn’t penetrate through the black, but where my “glitter” was showing through it did show a lighter color. I’m going to purchase this every 3 weeks and do my roots until I can become a lighter brown (natural color).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The L'Oreal Excellence Creme Permanent Triple Protection Hair Dye in Dark Brown number 4 was the perfect shade for my hair. I normally have chestnut brown hair and now that I have grays, I look to blend them in with my natural color hair. When I do this I can stretch out dying my hair because this blends in so well. The scent of the dye was pleasant and not too overpowering and there was no residue left on my scalp and face like other brands have left on my skin. I did not have to rub off any staining which was wonderful. It was easy to follow the directions, the hair dye needed to stay on my hair for 30 minutes. After rinsing out my hair, I used the recommended shampoo that was given in the box as well as the conditioner. My hair felt so soft and silky after washing my hair. It felt healthier after dying my hair than before. I will definitely use this product again and continue to use it now as a root touch up throughout the next few months. The best part of this hair dye was the thickness of the dye prevented the dye from splattering all over the place and making a mess. This was the easiest hair dye I have ever used.

Great coverage for stubborn grays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very hard to color, stubborn gray hair, especially along my hairline. This product did a great job of covering those grays with one try. The product was easy to apply and didn’t have that harsh chemical smell. It didn’t irritate my scalp and the color looked very natural. The color looked multidimensional and my natural auburn highlights were still noticeable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] L’Oreal Paris Excellence Crème Triple Care Color for permanent color could use some fine tuning. The directions are great and were easy to follow. The mixing, application and directions are similar to any at home hair dying kit I have used at home before but this one had a comb you could put on the coloring bottle. You only need a his if you are doing root touch up. I did my whole head of hair that is mid back in length. No bad smells and the mix was nice and thick, so it stuck to the hair. I barely had enough mixture, thank goodness. If my hair was any longer, there would not have been enough. I let it sit for the time instructed. Rinsed and noticed no difference. Yikes. The photo on the back of the box said it would be much lighter even with my dark brown hair. I used the shampoo and conditioner afterward and my hair was softer than when I started. That was a good thing. There was no facial staining and any stray dots on the counter cleaned up easily. My scalp felt fine with no irritation. The end result just never showed up. Boo Hoo!

I can tell this hair color cover 100% effectively gray hair providing a deep, rich, natural black brown tone without looking flat or stark. I think it can process darker if you left on past the recommended time. The formula with pro-keratine complex and Hyaluronic Acid protects hair fibers, leaving strands feeling soft, smooth and conditioned rather than brittle or dried out.
The application is very easy and this package comes with a thick, non drip creme formula and includes an applicator comb, a post-color shampoo, and a deep conditioner for a mess-free process also a pair of gloves and instructions. I can tell the color lasts up to 8 weeks with minimal fading.

My hair looked nicely colored, and the gray coverage was excellent. However, the color did lighten my hair a little too much at the roots, leaving them slightly lighter than I would have liked. Overall, I was happy with the gray coverage and the results, but I would prefer a more even color from roots to ends. It’s a good option if gray coverage is your main priority, just be mindful that the roots may turn out lighter than expected.

My dry hair did not get drier from applying it, the conditioner packet helps nourish the hair without breakage. The application time was standard, after washing them my hair look wonderful! The color looks great so far no whites, will buy again in the future. In terms of conditioning regular when dye it’s soft always the first two washes.
