Get the Look: How to Recreate Fairy Makeup and Hair for Halloween

If you want to channel your inner pixie there's no better time to do that then Halloween. Follow this guide to get a gorgeous fairy makeup and hair look, complete with pastel hair and sparkling eyeshadow. Love glitter and glam (who doesn't)? Then Halloween is the perfect time to indulge in sparkle and shine. And there's no better beauty look then Halloween fairy makeup as it has everything from pastel hair to metallic eyes and lips. The good news is that there's no right or wrong way to do this makeup! Whether you want to play with all the colours of the rainbow or just add a bit of sparkle to your fairy makeup look, you can go as glam or as subtle with your hair and makeup as you want. Steps for Hair

Step 1:
Start with clean, dry hair. Comb through your hair to remove any knots or tangles to make application even and easy. To ensure your clothing stays protected and the dye doesn’t get messy, place a towel around your shoulders.

Step 2:
Using your fingertips, mix a dime-sized amount of each colour of L’Oréal Paris Colorista Hair Makeup — Grey #700 & Pink Violet #400 —in your palm. No gloves necessary!

Step 3:
Section off the pieces of hair you want to colour. Starting at the middle of your hair apply Colorista Hair Makeup to your hair blending it out towards your ends. After application wash hands with soap and water or clean with a wipe.

Step 4:
Using a blow dryer and styling tools, dry and style your hair into the desired look.

Steps for Eyes

Step 1:
Next comes the fun part: the whimsical fairy eye makeup. Begin with clean, bare eyelids. Start by applying L’Oréal Paris Infallible Paints Eyeshadow in Sunset Fire onto the eyelid from your lash line up to the crease of your eye. Once you’ve got the desired application of colour, use a dense eyeshadow brush to blend for a soft, diffused look.

Step 2:
Using a fluffy eyeshadow brush layer Paradise Enchanted Palette in colour #12 onto the outside corner of your eyes and blend outward.

Step 3:
Apply Paradise Enchanted Palette in colour #3 along your upper lash line with a small, dense brush, blending the colour into your lashes to define your eyes. Apply the same colour onto the outer corners of your eyes and blend outwards for a subtle smokey effect.

Step 4:
Enhance your top lash line with Lash Paradise Liquid Eyeliner in Rose Gold. Draw a thin line from the inner corner of your eye to the outer corner, making a small uptick at the outer corner to open up your eyes.

Step 5:
Finish off your eye makeup look with two coats of Voluminous Original Mascara in Black on your upper and lower lashes.

Steps for Face

Step 1:
Take a large powder or blush brush and apply True Match Lumi BronzeIt in Light to your temples, cheekbones and jawline.

Step 2:
To amp up your glow, add True Match Lumi Shimmerista in Sunlight to your cheekbones and nose using a small fluffy highlighter brush. Expert tip: To blend with your bronzer, move your brush in circular motions to buff the highlighter into your skin for a natural, lit-from-within radiance.

Step 3:

Steps for Lips

Finish off your beauty look by applying Infallible Metallic Lip Paints in Galactic Foil to the centre of your lips and work the product outwards for an even application.
