How to apply the hair colour?
- Do an allergy test 48 hours before using product.
- Apply the Protective Colour Cream and leave on for 25–45 minutes, depending on the desired result.
- Rinse thoroughly.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Take the allergy test 48 hours before colouring your hair. Dyeing your hair: Starting at the root, apply the mix to dry, unwashed hair. Wait and let it sit 20 minutes before applying to the lengths of your hair.
2. Dyeing your hair: Now apply the mix to the lengths on your dry, unwashed hair. Wait and let it sit for 10 minutes. Total application time should be 30 minutes between your roots (20) and your lengths (10).
3. Rinse everything dye off until hair clear of product.
4. Apply the Caring Shampoo located in the box and rinse. Apply Caring Deep Conditioner located in the box. Leave in for 3 minutes and then rinse.

I find that the grey coverage is minimal at best. This is a lighter color then what I started with but even on my roots there is many greys that have no change. My hair does feel good after so that is a plus for it. Maybe a darker color would have been a better choice for me.

There wasn’t any pungent ammonia odor like other hair colors I have used in the past. It spread smoothly throughout my hair. I left it in just a few minutes shy of the time listed in the paper. It rinsed from my hair easily. I like the after color shampoo tube and the conditioner. After drying my hair I love the color. My hzir is lighter than my natural dark brown and my stubborn grey was completely covered. This is definitely going to be my go to hair color for the future. It did not dry my hair out, and the application was easy and the directions step-by-step were easy to follow. It did not stain my hands at all when rinsing and after application did not drip. I think maybe a gradual approach when lightening darker hair colors would be more effective. I liked the product and would recommend it highly for lighter natural hair color for best results.

My hair looks shiny and feels soft and conditioned.

Colors Grey Hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been coloring my hair for the last 30 years. The only hair color that I use is L’Oreal Paris. I received a complimentary box of L’Oreal Paris Excellence Crème from Influenster. If you have gray hair that you would like to hide then this is for you. It comes with a developer, color cream, shampoo, and conditioner. It is simple to apply. I used a thin comb to part my hair into 1/4 sections so I could apply the creme to my grey roots. Then I applied the color to the rest of my hair with my hands and a comb. Afterwards, I loosely piled my hair on top of head and set the timer 30 mins. What’s the time was up? I rinsed my hair with water then I applied the shampoo. I left the conditioner on for about three minutes before rinsing it out. The shade is a little darker than my usual color but I have a significant amount of gray that lightens the color also. My grays are pretty stubborn but this color seemed to cover it exceptionally well! The smell is light and the cream is thick which helps to avoid runs and spills during application! The kit includes a small shampoo and large tube of conditioner. My hair felt soft afterwards and was easy to comb and style. Overall, an excellent product for a box kit!

The gloves are really well made in this one and didn't break. The directions were easy to understand and I like the new locking feature on the dye color. I feel like it also doesn't have as strong an odor as it did before. It covers greys really well and it doesn't take much to do it. I had to take off one star because for some reason, the shampoo is TINY. A little goes a long way, but there's no reason for shrinkflation to affect how much shampoo I get. You're going to need your own in order to use this kit.

I love that there is not only the deep conditioning treatment but also the after color shampoo, that cleaned off all excess residue and left my hair soft and ready to absorb the intensive conditioner included. All with really great scents that left my hair smelling great ! My hair feels significantly healthier and I can cover those pesky greys with this beautiful soft rich color, without having to spend a fortune on a salon. And no one else will know!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This newer Loreal Excellence Creme now contains HA, which makes the creme formula a little thinner, so it spreads more easily, giving you more product to cover your head. Although the formula is thinner, it's still thick enough that it doesn't make a mess. Kit comes with the standard & root comb applicators, a shampoo & conditioner. The conditioner is amazing-as always. The shampoo smells divine & get the hair squeaky clean without removing dye. Wish they would sell this shampoo in stores! Covers greys very well. Not sure what the HA is doing cause I don't notice more nor less damage with it added. Because the creme isn't as thick as the other formula, 1 box is enough for short-medium hair length if its not thick.

They say it delivers 100% gray coverage while protecting and hydrating the hair. The three-step routine has a protective coloring cream with a pro-keratine complex to protect and nourish hair as it colors. The provided shampoo has a mild pH formula infused with hydraulic acid to gently cleanse the scalp and hair of excess residue right after rinsing. The deep conditioning mask is infused with hydraulic acid to seal the hair cuticles which is supposed to lock in 3x more moisture for smooth, radiant, long lasting color.
My results:
I was letting my gray grow out but I didn't like the look. I have a good amount of gray and it did cover all of it
The color is beautiful. I'm normally very dark at a 3 NN but I wanted to go lighter so I opted for a five medium brown and it turned out beautiful.
It was gentle on my scalp which I very much appreciated.
It's a cream but not like the thick creams that barely mix with the developer. This is an ideal consistency to easily mix and apply, but thick enough that you don't get drips.
I love the comb applicator. It's similar to a wide tooth comb and slid through my thick hair smoothly, making sure I easily covered all the strands.
This product is easy to use and it left my hair feeling healthier than it did before I dyed it. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So just to start off I want to say that I have very dark hair so it is very hard for a box die to make a huge impact. However, I can’t say it most definitely covered all the grays as I’m starting to notice more and more sadly. I would also like to know that it does sound on the back. If you have long hair, they recommend using two kits, and it’s not their fault, but I do have very long hair that is way beyond the middle of my back, so I also didn’t have enough of the product to thoroughly really saturate every strand. The smell is not at all overbearing and honestly was a huge improvement from some I’ve used before where I couldn’t breathe because of the chemical smell. I give this a solid four out of five and I would definitely recommend this product and I would purchase it as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have black hair and wanted to see if it would cover up my “glitter” and what color it would come out! I usually purchase the black in L’Oréal, but I want to go lighter!! The smell isn’t super strong like other brands. The application is easy. Half my head I used Vaseline around my hairline and the other half I left bare. The color came off super easy on the half that was bare! The shampoo and conditioner is smells soooo good!! If I could buy an entire bottle of the conditioner itself I would.
Now, the color didn’t penetrate through the black, but where my “glitter” was showing through it did show a lighter color. I’m going to purchase this every 3 weeks and do my roots until I can become a lighter brown (natural color).
