Absolute favorite moisturizer.

I’m on my second jar of this moisturizer and I came here to say if you’re looking for a moisturizer that will leave your skin HYDRATED this is the product for you. I put this product on in the morning and at night and I can feel the hydration hours after application. I’ve tried so many moisturizers trying to find one that works well for me and none of them compare. If you’re thinking about trying it consider this your sign.

I used to LOVE this product because of its clean lovely scent, but they must have changed the formula because it no longer smells the same. I’m very disappointed in this product now, as the scent was the biggest reason that it was my favorite. I’ll no longer be using this product.

“New” formula is caustic

I purchased this once before the new formula and I loved it (old formula) bought new formula today and my face has been burning and itching from one use! I am so dissapointed since I thought I had found a reasonably priced great product for my dry skin. Why fix something that wasn’t broke ? I am returning it and getting my money back and moving on in my search for a decent product. FYI I am 65 and have never had a moisturizer cause this kind of irritation. Big mistake L oreal

creamy but not for sensitive skin

This is my first time trying out this product since it says that it's safe for sensitive skin. I have used it twice a day for 3 days in a row and noticed that my face is developing a rash (redness on my cheeks).
I am planning to apply once a day to see if my skin can tolerate it, but I am sad that I might have to return it.

Poor formula change

Agreed on the formula change being bad. I had an older purchase that I was using and absolutely loved it. I was planning to regularly buy the product. Then I bought a new jar with the formula changed and it was very different - thicker and vs lightweight, and tacky vs easily absorbed. I love that some Loreal skin products are offered in fragrance free, so that is appreciated because we don't need it and many people have allergic reactions, but the overall effectiveness of this product has changed in an unfortunate way. If they ever switch back I'd buy it again.

I agree about the new formula. It’s awful. My skin almost burns and it smells awful. I don’t know why they changed the formula when it was perfect the way it was. It felt so fresh before and no it feels slimy and smells bad. Very disappointed .

Dry, irritated skin with the new formula

Before they updated the formula, I LOVED this product. I purchased it many times over the years; it was the only moisturizer I found that wouldn’t irritate my skin. The new formula makes my sensitive skin feel very dry and worsens my skin condition like all of the other lotions I’ve tried. Very sad that I can no longer use this product since the formula has changed.
I usually don’t write reviews but this was one of my favorite skin care items and I’m super disappointed they changed the formula.

I have seen a great difference in the texture and moisture of my skin! I struggle with dry skin and fine lines. My skin feels so hydrated and plump now. The consistency of this moisturizer is more on the thicker side and even though it is fragrance free, it still has a different kind of smell. Such a great drug store moisturizer! Background: I have incredibly dry post-accutane skin, I love bland and thick moisturizers, and am looking for as much hydration as possible. This product definitely seems to deliver! I really appreciate that it is fragrance free, and I LOVE the thickness (if heavy moisturizers aren't your thing, this probably isn't for you). It melts into your skin quickly, keeping your skincare routine nice and quick, but provides excellent hydration. I didn't notice any irritation while using this product. If there is any complaint (and this isn't one for me personally), it is a bit heavy and your skin will have a very dewy/glowy finish. If you want a matte finish, this is probably a bit too heavy for you. All in all, I really enjoyed this product!

After the first week in started to notice my face looking oily, i had a few pimples but didnt think it was the moisturizer cause we are in the middle of summer and i had put on some make up when i would go out so i thought okay i wont ware any makeup when i go out. But a week later i still had blemishes also face still looked and felt oily.. i wanted to like this product by my face said no!

However I don't know that it's best for everyday use for combo/oily skin. I'm acne prone and found I could use this a few times a week at best, anymore and I would break out. But that's okay it's normal for my skin to not love thick creams. I did like using it however as a makeup base (it's fantastic for this) and on nights where I exfoliate with BHA. When I used it at night after exfoliating I woke up with no dry spots or flakes. I also LOVE that it is fragrance free, too!

Clogged my pores so badly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cream is a very thick cream that does not spread easily so be aware of that. I have oily skin with large pores. It's supposed to be ok to use on my skin but ever since I started it, I've just broke out so badly and all my pores are extremely congested. I wake up with an oil field on my face EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's not worth it in my opinion to even risk using this. I'm a very experienced skin care user, 37 female with oily skin and large pores for reference.
