True Match Plumping and Hydrating Tinted Serum - Tan-Deep

I have decent skin for 40 and have always HATED the look and feel of foundation, but...I also like to try to make an effort on my appearance for events, etc. This stuff is absolutely perfect! It feels weightless, doesn't smell and does a good job of evening out skintone without looking like a mask. I love that it doesn't settle in my creases and crows feet or magnify my larger pores.

At 51 years old, I have tried all kinds of foundation and never really truly liked any of them. I am very much impressed with this tinted serum. It goes on very well and gives me a nice barely there look. The dropper is a disaster though. What a mess it is. Just put it in a different kind of dispenser. Either a pump or just a cap.

I love this product. It provides a very light natural coverage and is a good match to my skin tone but please please replace the dropper with a pump. It's so messy. Then it would be perfect.

The formulation is excellent but the dropper is unnecessary and useless when the product is close to finish, please replace with a pump.

My favorite foundation! I'm using for years now, however recently I noticed the lightest shade is a bit rosy on me, otherwise it would fit perfectly. I wish you make a bit more warmer light shade separately, just like you added that light rosy shade recently. Not every fair skin has a rosy/neutral undertone and I miss light warmer shades from your collections.

I’m almost 60 and my skin has changed drastically over the last 10 years . This is the first time in 10 plus years I’ve gotten a perfect match to my skin tone that blends seamlessly and naturally giving me a nice fresh glow. Very very pleased with this product! Now to find the perfect concealer to pair with it. My perfect foundation match is the rosey light 1-2.5

No matter how much I love this product - and there's lots to love - the packaging makes it a no for me. It's hard to describe what a mess the dropper makes around the bottle neck and in the dropper cap and how much product is lost in the clean up. Adding to the frustration, the dropper is unnecessary and useless as you get close to the bottom of the bottle. C'mon Loreal, put a pump on it or even a plain cap. This is a good formulation but the delivery tanks it.

Very lightweight formula for everyday wear. However, the applicator is a hot mess. Until you get towards the bottom of the product the pipette is pointless as the product just drips off it. Loreal would do better to have a pump on this as it is so watery. But the actual product great when you dont want to wear foundation

Absolutely love this product. It beats out previous foundations. I’ve used from luxury/high-end foundations. It’s a perfect match with my skin, last all day, and gives my skin a lovely finish.

I like the coverage and feel of the makeup, but by the end of the day it gets a yellow-y look as if it’s oxidized. Using C2

A better range in shades is needed. I tried 5-6 and it was too dark and orange, then I purchased 4.5-5.5 and it’s too light and pink. The in-between shade would have been great and a neutral tone. In 2025 you would think companies would understand that there are several skin tones, 14 shades is just not enough. I would have loved the product if they had my shade. It’s light and wears well, but I can walk around looking orange or pale.

Terrible application - the overall formula of the product was satisfactory but the application was a mess.

It’s perfect. I’m in my forties , and it doesn’t settle in my lines ( even after I set it with a powder). It stays put all day. It looks very natural and it plays well all sorts of other products in different textures: cream, liquid, powder. What more can you ask for?

I like the formula of this product but PLEASE expand the shade range! The lightest shade is too dark if you have very fair skin.

My favorite foundation by far. I have combo to oily skin, and this foundation wears perfectly on my skin. It has a beautiful luminosity to it, applies and blends easily, and wears all day. I love it. I have repurchased multiple times and will continue to.

Love the makeup, hate the "eye dropper" bottle! It makes a huge mess and is a terrible way to dispense liquid foundation. Please put this makeup in a different kind of bottle and it will be five stars!

I love everything about it except the dropper. It’s a drippy disaster mess of an application. Would be better with a pump system. Also, I love the color but I cannot match it to the other liquid makeup. I bought medium light.

I’m 63 years old and I’ve finally found the perfect foundation! I’ve tried so many, from drugstore to luxury and I’ve never been so pleased as I am with True Match Nude! It looks beautiful and feels like I’m wearing nothing. The perfect combination. I absolutely love it - please never stop making it, or worse yet, please never change the formulation, you’ve perfected it!

I love everything about this foundation - color, coverage, finish... everything except THE PACKAGING! Please please please please put this foundation in a normal pump bottle. The dropper does not work and just makes a mess. I've resorted to buying a 1 oz. pump bottle and transferring it over to avoid the wastefulness of the product dripping all over the side of the bottle every time I take the dropper in or out of the bottle. Also, it appears the dropper takes up about 1/2 oz of volume, so there is only 1/2 oz of product in the bottle. That's wild. So to recap: possibly my favorite foundation ever but can not stand the bottle so much that I may have to find a new favorite. Because makeup shouldn't make you rage.

I am so happy with this serum/skin care/foundation. I'm currently 47 years old with combination skin, & I live in N. AL. I am about to go from teleworking to going into the office every day and I need a very QUICK and EASY makeup routine, and this is included. I am a very ~particular~ customer b/c of my skin needs - I can't use sunscreen on my skin every day (it breaks me out), so I'm SOOOO glad this doesn't contain it. I do need to perform my skincare routine prior to applying this product, and using hands/fingers is the best way (hence EASY and QUICK). I have quite the collection of makeup and I must say that when I was trying to figure out WHAT I was gonna do for my appearance in the office every day, I was thrilled to remember that I have this in my collection. I will be using this (at my desk) every day. And it's skincare, too. I do not notice any clinginess or otherwise weird patches. It does dry down to a rather matte finish (which I love) but I tend to be oily, and I live where it's hot and humid. Even my daughter uses this stuff. And it's very gentle, too (does not break me out). Please, L'Oreal, NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER stop making this product b/c there is not another on the market like it - I have looked.

Purchased this recently. Love it! My skin is dry & just looked dull. Smooth silky formula. Like the way it looks & feels on my skin.

No matter how hydrated or moisturized I am before using this tinted serum, my skin seems to immediately dry up and flake moments after I put it on. It goes on more like a foundation than a serum. The packaging is also terrible - the dropper doesn't work so I have to use it as a weird, messy stick instead. The two redeeming qualities are that shade was a great match (I used Very Light) and it didn't break me out. But the consistency and dryness have me throwing it out after just five uses =(

I love this product and how it gives an all day glow and doesn't break me out at all BUT the shade range is abysmal. I use the lightest shade (0.5-2) and it is still 2 shades too dark on my skin. Wish I could keep buying it, because of how good it makes my skin look and feel but until they expand their shades I have to use a lighter product (Maybelline skin tint)

I tried this product for the first time this week. I am very pleased with the results. The coverage is light, but buildable. I loved the looked & was pleasantly surprised by this. Even better was how it made my skin feel & look after it was removed. Amazing. The only complaint is the dropper application. It doesn’t work well at all. Product is wonderful though.

They really need to change the name of this product. The name would lead one to believe that this is- indeed- a "tinted serum". It's NOT! It's a thick, drying foundation. As others have noted, the application method- a very dysfunctional dropper- is useless~ and messy. Because of this packaging, it also leads one to believe that this is of a more liquid type substance. It's not! It's thick- about as thick or thicker than L'oreal's True Match Super-Blendable Liquid Foundation (which they have apparently discontinued, sadly). I ended up putting some of this new "Serum" foundation into the empty bottle of the L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Foundation, a much thinner and, IMHO, better foundation that L'Oreal has recently introduced. (In fact, I love it!) The marketing department at L'Oreal needs to get their act together. Learn what a SERUM is, and don't add a dropper to a product that is too thick to use! I definately do not recommend this product for older skin. Too drying. If you're looking for something that's more "serum" like, try the True Match Super-Blendable Foundation.
