Sometimes changes are not for the better

I have used this product for several years.Loreal Revitalift. But obviously the formula has changed and no SPF. I find the consistency gritty and my skin has now developed little red blotches. Disappointed, time to move on to another product.

I am very disappointed with this product, It isn’t practical to have a cleanser that you have to wash off that can’t go near the eyes!! My face felt so dry after using it.

I have purchased this product for years from Costco but it seems the formula has changed. The consistency is thicker which is fine but it doesn't feel like it's moisturizing my skin, leaves a weird bumpy texture on my face and makes my face red and irritated when I first apply it.

After completing The Skin Genius skincare survey, I decided to try the L’Oreal Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Moisturizer Fragrance Free. I am so glad I did this moisturizer has quickly become a staple in my routine.

I bought this product at Costco as I have been for years. I was disappointed when I opened the “new look “ packaging to find that the bottle was half the size of what it normally is for the same price as the bigger size. Inside the box was a cardboard layer at the top and the bottom making the box bigger and leading me to believe it was the same size as normal. And inside the box it says “Because you’re worth it”. Come on! What a deception for the consumer. Do better!

I have used Revlon eterna 27 with elusive protegin for over 50 years.. my mom used this for as far as I can remember until she passed. I have been looking for something similar when Revlon discontinued making it!

Allergic after 5 years

I’ve been using this night cream 5 years. Did they change the formula? I’ve become allergic to it. I’ve discontinued 10 times and started again because couldn’t believe after 5 years I’d react. It’s for sure true. No idea what I’ll be able to use as my face skin is very sensitive. There are no sunscreens I can use other than zinc which looks awful and feels gross. I have a new unopened jar of the revitalft

No SPF

I've been using the Revitalift Moisturizer for years and was very happy with it. One of the things I liked best was the fact that it had SPF 25. Now it does not. The other thing that bothers me is that it now comes in 2 - 50 ml jars instead of 1 - 100 ml jar. (from Costco) I'm trying to reduce packaging. 2 jars to replace 1 jar makes no sense. I'll look for a different product to replace this.

This lotion is NOT fragrance-free. It smells like wallpaper glue. I usually use a different name brand, but I thought I would give this a try because it was cheaper. I didn't realize the quality would significantly drop.

Great for sensitive skin!

I have sensitive and dry skin (except my T zone) and I love this moisturizer! Loooove that it’s fragrance free too. I recently accidentally bought the new “triple power” version containing hyaluronic acid and my face became red and splotchy. I’m having a hard time finding this simple version now - please PLEASE keep making it!

“New and improved” NOT

I used to love this product when it came in a RED jar. But for the past month I have searched everywhere for that product but can only find Revitalift fragrance free moisturizer in a WHITE jar. I bought the product in the white jar, hoping it was only the packaging that was new, but sadly, the moisturizer is not the same. It’s thick and heavy and even feels greasy on my skin. Nothing light and airy about it. The old moisturizer in the RED jar was heavenly, it had a lighter, even whipped consistency, and went onto my skin beautifully. It was perfect, it improved my skin and was a joy, even a luxury, to apply twice a day. But the “new and improved” formula resembles a tub of lard and unfortunately the two jars I bought will go in the trash. My search for the perfect moisturizer must begin anew! L’Oreal, please go back to the OLD FORMULA!!!

Revitalift fails though given a second chance

Thought I'd apply the cream and wait 2 hrs before applying foundation - a longer time than previously when there was so much pilling. I applied foundation sparingly and initially it looked alright but then I saw how clogged my pores were, how dry my skin felt and there was pilling everywhere!! Again I was on my way out to dinner and had to scrub it off my face and apply another moisturizer + foundation. A moisturizer should work for me not against me. I can't get a refund from the store but I'm asking for one from you - given that I've dedicated more time to this than I normally would and it continually fails to deliver on its promise. Disappointing!!!!! A first for me.

Revitalift Delivers What It Promises!

I purchased this product because @ 68 years old, my skin texture is changing. My skin is sensitive, so I need fragrance free and a product that doesn't aggravate my face and neck. I have been using and enjoying this product for many years. One of the features I appreciated was the SPF 25 it contained. My most recent purchase does not indicate it is still a feature. Have you removed this? I hope not because I will need to find another product.

Bad smell

I previously had the revitalift with sunscreen and loved it. At my local store I didn't see it so I thought I would give this a try. Big mistake. This product stinks. It smells like rancid oils. Never did I think fragrance free meant smelly. Will be throwing this away.

I used to love this night cream. I recently ran out and purchased the product which was in different "new look" packaging. It seems like the new look also comes with a different formula. The old cream used to feel light and smooth and work really well. The new product feels like paste on my face, it's very thick and sticky. I will be switching to a different brand.

I received this product and the Night Cream as a gift when I turned 30. It was amazing. For the price-point you are getting a serious bang for your buck. This cream is not fragrance free
It smells like stale cigarette smoke. I like the product but don't know if I can put up with the smell. I have purchased other unscented loreal products so don't know why this one has such a bad smell. Could the product have something wrong with it. I did see that someone else also had the same complaint.

I wanted to love this product but it didn’t settle well with my skin. The cream was nice and thick but my skin must have been too sensitive for it because it turned really red after using is.

This is an easy product to use and add to my daily face care regime. I found that the cream absorbed nicely and left my skin feeling softer, smoother and firmer. I noticed that my fine lines were less noticeable and my skin felt great. This cream spreads so nicely and I expect the tube will last me a long time.

Where is this product made?

I just purchase this cream at Costco as it was a great value but when I got home I noticed that nowhere on the packaging does it state where the product is made. It says, "Imp. by L'Oreal Canada" but does not indicate the country of manufacture. The reason I would not recommend this product is because of this lack of transparency. Other products I have purchased from L'Oreal in the past have always had the country of origin on them. I tried to call the company's 1-888 # but after six tries and not being able to get through, I have given up and will throw out the jar of cream because I don't trust it.

I have been using this cream everyday for 2 weeks, and I see a drastic difference in my wrinkles and around my neck area. A small drop actually covers a large area, so you don't have to waste any. There is no scent which I really like. My skin didn't feel sticky or greasy after applying, it absorbed into really well. Totally will continue using this cream now that I have seen the difference. I got this product free to try and then share my experience

I received this #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox for my honest review. Oh my the surprise this gave me. I always liked L’Oreal products, add the brightening power of vitamin c, and other lovely ingredients but this I did not expect. For starters, when you read “fragrance free” you expect that slight cream or plastic or chemical scent. This cream has absolutely no scent. (I will accuse my allergies). I have been using this product for over 14 days and I see a visible difference. My fine lines are filling. I have very dry mature skin. For a drugstore product, this is high end results.

I received this moisturizer through Topbox Circle for free to try out and provide an honest review. This product did wonders for my 40+ year old skin. My skin felt so soft after applying. I have combination skin and it absorbed quite nicely. I even noticed that some of my fine lines/wrinkles have diminished quite significantly over the last couple of weeks of use. Love it! I received this #freeproduct wrinkle cream thanks to #trywithtopbox. I started using this product roughly a month ago my evening time showers. It applies easily with a very light feeling on the skin before being absorbed and I didn’t find it greasy at all. This has definitely left my more hydrated and moisturized than before. I will definitely look to purchase more of this product once the one I currently have has been all used. L’Oreal has been a quality product for many years and continues to be so to this day so it is no surprise that I love this product as much as I have loved other products of theirs in the past.
