It was a great color match and after the first spray the grays all but disappeared. I also went through the hair and sprayed all along the perimeter and also worked it throughout since there were a decent amount of grays. All in all, the coverage was great and it was super easy to apply. Since I had to work it into the hair a bit, I did get some color on my hands, but it washed off pretty easily. I would definitely recommend this product for root touch up or for temporary gray coverage.

You got super busy and wasn't able to go to the salon to get your roots done, it's ok you can always use the magic root to cover those grays temporarily. And what's even better if you don't like the color you can always wash it off and It comes off. You can also use it for faux freckles. It blends perfectly covering them grays, and it feels great. It doesn't feel as if you have hairspray all hard. And it does not smell ugly either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Magic root cover up was made to cover those Grey's in-between salon appointments and wash out after one wash. It does not have a strong chemical odor which I really appreciate. It goes on smoothly and feels nice and light, like nothings there. Just beware it does stain you hands if you put your ✋️ hand up by you hair. My daugthers wanted black hair for awhile now and with magic root being a one wash product I say its great if your thinking of dying you hair to try this out first. It gives you a chance to see if you like the color on you first before committing. I would recommend magic root touch up for touch up for grey's and also for testing hair colors out. It's a win win.

Easy to use

And if it overlaps gets even darker. So if you’re expecting blonde this would ruin your day. Dries very quickly and wipes off the skin with ease. No offensive smell.

A quick fix

Also, if you have thin hair, be prepared for your scalp to become heavily colored. The dye washed out of my hair more easily than it did from my scalp.

No stickiness but does feel like a hair spray on hair and gives her volume when you spray the sections on top and sides . I ended up looking pretty splotchy. I could probably figure it out but the drips all over the counter and the stained fingers after running my fingers through my hair leave me preferring to just deal with the grays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Get the right color! I got dark blonde because I didn’t see an option for a lighter blonde, I guess I assumed it was lighter than it is. I don’t really have grays to cover so was planning to use this more as a way to extend root touch ups at the salon. I’m very overdue and actually going to get my roots lightened tomorrow, so was hoping this was slightly lighter but it’s literally the color of my dark roots! Haha. So I’d call it more of a light brunette, dark dirty blonde color. The pictures are before and after, and they definitely blend into that color, and I did a quick spritz on my very light ends to show a color comparison in case someone else mistakenly thinks it’d be lighter than it is like I did. Once dry, it lasted and kind of felt similar to a dry shampoo on my hair. I think the way that it clung to and colored the lighter hair, I could see this totally working well on grays, just make sure you get the right color for you!

I was scared that there would be black spots on my scalp but thankfully there wasn’t any. It did way my hair down a little but not anything crazy. In the beginning I did feel a little itch coming in but then it stopped. I do have very sensitive skin so that’s probably why. The coverage was pretty good but as you can tell there is still some grays showing. I tried to cover the grays up as much as I could but that’s all it could over. Overall I think it’s great for a quick little cover up.

Magic more than just a cover-up

Well I dropped it on the floor several times and I didn’t break the top or the little applicator that it sprays out of. It’s a very watery consistency. Think of if you spray a aerosol hairspray on your hand it is very messy. I recommend using a board or something to guide where you want this to be and following up with a hairspray to seal it and it lasts like a day if you sweat a lot use more hairspray. I hope this review was helpful.

Extremely hard to get out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was excited to try this because my roots are growing out so you can see all my grays. I got the dark brown and I sprayed it and it looked good! I was happy. It covered my grays well. Then I took a shower that night. The next day I touched the top of my head and dark pieces came off on my hand. My hair was gray but there was some residue. I was like I guess I didn’t wash it good enough. So I took another shower. Afterwards I could still feel residue on my hand and a little bit of the brown came off on my hand. I took another shower and scrubbed it really good. Still residue. And I’m freaking out because I have a hair appointment coming up. So long story short I try dish soap, which doesn’t work. I tried olive oil and that got it out! I don’t think I would use this again because that was crazy how hard it was to get out and almost had to cancel my hair appointment. I would use it if it actually came out in the shower
