Usage

Turns frizzy hair into manageable curls!

I wasn't sure this shampoo and conditioner was doing much originally. I thought it was my hair curl creme keeping my curls bouncy. I have naturally curly hair - 2C 3A hair. I changed shampoos thinking it would not matter. My hair turned into a big frizz ball with the new shampoo. I have quickly returned to this shampoo and conditioner, and I made sure to buy extras so I would not run out!

Super moisturizing! Would buy again

I have been using this shampoo for a few months now and my hair has never felt healthier. I accidentally purchased this shampoo without realizing it was meant for curly hair but I was too lazy to return it. I’m very glad I didn’t because I’ve been needing a good moisturizing shampoo and it’s amazing. 10/10 for 2a hair that has been through black box dye and the removal process once I inevitably got bored within the last two years. Now I keep my hair mostly natural with a few blond highlights (for the past 9 months) and you could never tell what my hair went through.

I love the shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair soft free of frizz. My hair is shiny and manageable works perfectly for my curly hair, but it has become incredibly difficult to find in store or online I usually have to search and search to find someone who carries them, and I have to buy in bulk, so I do not run out of them before I find it again.

I bought the shampoo for my family of curly haired people and it’s too hard for my children to use to get out. I was using it today and there was a load pop as I was trying to get it out. Much to my surprise it burst at the seems

Bought this set in June, my hair has never been so frizz free. You can see define curls in my hair.
It washes clean free. I have cut the amount of shampoo and conditioner in half. So now my hair isn't weighed down. It feels so light. I have a full head of long crazy curls.

Do Not Buy If You Care About Your Hair

I bought this a couple of days ago and used it for the first time today. This is hands down one of the worst products I’ve used on my hair. My hair feels no different than when normal shampoo is used. The conditioner is no help either. My hair is so dry and frizzy that it will not curl.

New Formula makes me break out

I used this product for years, but since they recently changed the formula to add more oils, I can no longer use this product as it makes me break out all along the hairline and scalp. So sad they ruined a great thing!

Has Sulfate!

I recently bought this because I have type 3A curly hair. I bought it because it “doesn’t have sulfate” but then when I received it I check the ingredients and the first 5 are literally sulfates! I can’t even use this product because it will literally dry my hair and damage it. I am super unsatisfied.

Hi wilmary21, Sulfates in shampoos are surfactants which function as foaming agents and emulsifiers. The term "sulfate" refers to the sulfate portion of the molecule. This portion of the molecule is associated with greater cleaning and foaming effects. Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate and disodium laureth sulfosuccinate are also foaming agents and emulsifiers but the sulfate portion of the molecule has been replaced. These ingredients are not chemically classified as "sulfates" and are generally perceived as milder surfactants. Thanks for your interest in L'Oreal!

Works almost TOO well

After I've used it for a month, my 2b/3a fine, thin wavy hair is curling beautifully. And it stays that way through me fiddling with it. Curls might be because of the humidity (altho I wasn't this curly this time last year). And my hair feels soft. No frizz.
I love the results! Except when I need to wear my hair stick straight some days. :) I can't blow my hair out straight, even with product. I need to flatiron. I use a heat protection spray before, of course.

I previously bought the Ever Pure Frizz shampoo and conditioner and liked it. But then I saw this and thought I would give it a try because I have very curly hair. It is terrible, it makes my hair stringy and dry. Don’t waste your money.

Our daughter is 5 1/2 years old with naturally curly hair. We used Johnson's Baby Shampoo on her as a baby and then our family Aussie Shampoo because we couldn't find a product that was good. My husband found EverCurl because I started using the EverPure Color Shampoo & Conditioner for a few years - and honestly, this EverCurl is the BEST!!! Our daughter's curls stay completely intact throughout this cold Winter (when her hair usually gets frizzy, curly, straight weird combo). I'm beyond thrilled with how well EverCurl, especialy the conditioner works on her hair :)

I’ve been using this product on and off for a few years. It is very inconsistent. One bottle will leave my hair very silky and I can run my fingers through it easily. The next bottle will leave my hair crunchy and stiff. Please help!!!

I have fine hair but a lot of it. Recently got a perm (gasp) and have been using the Evercurl shampoo and conditioner. While I love the product, I think the packaging is terrible. I find my tubes collapsing all the time, and the lid, once opened for the first time, don’t snap closed securely ever again.

i knocked down one star because I love the shampoo and conditioner but detest the tubes it's packed in. #1 my hands can't handle the tube well in the shower #2 I can't squeeze all the product out & proved it by cutting it open when I reached the end 7 there was enough for 2 more washes #3 the lid doesn't stay snapped plus it's difficult to snap shut so a lot is wasted if I turn upright on lid as shown in displays. I'd like the option of a larger size bottle w pump or just that I can turn over & squeeze a bit. I transferred mine into empty small bottles for travel (didn't want it spilling in my luggage) and it pours just fine from 2 empties of a cheap nail polish remover I bought to change shampoo & conditioner into. With the bottles convenience it would be a 5 stars bc my hair looked great, but I've changed to a different brand in a bottle.

I have been using this shampoo and also the conditioner on my daughter since it came out a couple years ago. Absolutely obsessed. Makes her hair so manageable. Smells amazing and her curls look gorgeous the next day.
I have 1 problem though. The tube is very very hard to squeeze for someone that has carpal tunnel and has no muscle strength. I can't tell you how frustrating that part is. Was hoping someone would see this and maybe can make the tube easier to squeeze or something!!

Great Shampoo, Conditioner, and Gel!

I had long (mid-back) hair that I chopped off because it felt dry and stringy. I'm now in the process of growing my naturally wavy hair back out and want to do so in the healthiest fashion possible. For me, that means good products and absolutely no heat. I'd been spending a boat load of money on recommended "curly girl" products (you know the ones!), but my poor wallet couldn't take the beating any longer.
I read good reviews on the L'Oreal Ever Curl and decided to give the set a try. Wowza! It smells absolutely amazing, suds up nicely, and leaves my hair so silky and healthy looking!! I do find that I need to add a bit of extra gel to the gel/creme if I want well-defined curls, but most days that isn't really necessary and I'm completely pleased with the gel/creme just the way it is. For a fraction of the cost, this will be my go-to line from here on out! Thanks, L'Oreal!
