EverPure Sulfate-Free Clarifying Shampoo for Hard Water Exposure and Build-Up

I usually hate writing reviews but this shampoo deserves it. I always buy expensive hair products (Kerastase never fails!) but someone told me to try this shampoo and I am in love! Not sure the chemistry behind, but for some reason boosts whatever your conditioner will do. I have been using this mask for a long time, and ti was Ok, but after buying this shampoo, the same conditioner is doing wonders! I guess glycine (or maybe what ingredient) is doing God’s work. Also, I have an oily scalp and it is controlling it very well. PLEASE, never ever change this formulation.

As a person who lives with hard water, I use this along with a water filter (not softener, they're different and softeners are way more expensive) and also use it as a clarifying shampoo 3x a month. It's never failed me ever. Surely there's other clarifying shampoos on the market, even ones that target hard water as well - I even have another clarifying shampoo in my bathroom -, but I always go back to this for this main reason: the scent. The scent is UNREAL and I literally get excited whenever I clarify just so I can smell it. It's the BEST scented hair product I have by FAR, maybe the best scented product I have in the house full stop. I also used the conditioner for the same reason. My ONLY complaint is that the packages exclusively come in 6oz. I would love there to be a 12oz option like many other L'oreal products, but I would even settle for 8oz. I also know this is a recent launch and the hard water awareness isn't as relevant as it needs to be so this line could be pretty niche, which could mean that this line could be cancelled soon in the future. I really hope it doesn't happen! I would love to see L'oreal sell more product in their containers and keep selling this line from Ever Pure! I hope it never goes away!

It isn’t too strong after your hair dries. The bottle design is also nice because I feel like I am able to use “all” of the product which is great.

The water here tend to make my hair feel nasty and heavy and even after washing it would feel dirty. Once I started using this shampoo it made such a big difference! I finally found a shampoo that is made for hard water and actually works! Also I wish I could find a Purfume that smelt like this shampoo because omg it’s fresh and clean and light and airy!

I moved to a new part of the country recently and had been feeling like my hair was more weighed down and my scalp was somehow dry and oily at the same time. I attributed this to differences in the water. I haven’t used clarifying shampoo before, but I gave this one a try, and WOW I could physically feel that my hair was lighter. My scalp feels super clean, my hair feels clean and soft, and the heaviness/waxiness from products is gone. The scent is very nice as well. For reference, I have thin and fine straight hair that I wash daily. Super happy with this purchase!

Used this shampoo and conditioner set one time and my hair feels amazing. We have hard water and I have long hair and my hair hasn’t felt this soft and pretty in forever. Excited to keep using it

Smells good but not clarifying. Left my daughter's hair very greasy at the roots. Will not purchase again.

It cleanses my scalp of any oil and product buildup and leaves me feeling fresh. The scent is mild and clean-super pleasant. I feel like I really get a good clean that’s never stripping.

Great fresh scent that is not too overwhelming and leaves my hair feeling very clean. However, I find that I need to cycle this shampoo with a non-clarifying shampoo otherwise my hair starts feeling dry. #freeproduct

Ive been using this product for 2/3 weeks. I like the scent of the product, and it initially leave my hair nice soft and smooth, but I feel as if it leaves my hair oily faster than usual (same day it feels dirty).

Was pleasantly surprised by the end result of using this shampoo. In my case I had to use a tiny bit first in my hair, rinse and then use again and it left my hair light and feeling great. The scent was very pleasing and comfortable. I will continue to use this shampoo as it removes residual buildup. #freeproduct
