Tried to fix something that wasn’t broken…

So glad to see it isn’t just me that hates the formula change. This was my go-to. Off to find something that works. Good luck L’Oréal. I never write reviews, but if this at all helps you reconsider bringing the old one back I figured I’d try it.

Bring back to old white lash primer this new stuff DOES NOT work I have one question why do you constantly change your products or discontinue it right when people like it that is one of my pet peeves about L’Oreal makeup constantly changing it all the time and for the worse if you asked me, but bring back the original white primer. It was better. I don’t know what this stuff is. You’re trying to pan off on us, but it’s ridiculous

Hate the new formula

I LOVED this until the formula changed. Not sure what happened it seems like you just use the same one as the other primer. When it was pink in color it worked amazing. I’m now on the hunt again fur good primer.

BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA IT WAS AMAZING THIS NEW ONE IS AWFUL I only tried the old formula (ie the older but only good version of this product) for the first time around the last month it was still available and I am absolutely heartbroken that they’ve ruined what was THE BEST lash primer I had ever tried and better than any of my much more expensive lash primers and totally dumbfounded about why L’Oreal would deliberately ruin what could have been such a cult classic best in beauty product that blew all other lash primers out of the water. Just WHY WHY WHY would you guys do this? The old formula in millennial pink colour with the pink metallic container was amazing it gave amazing volume and coverage that felt light and did not flake off or glue lashes. This new formula bears no relation to that formula at all. As far as I can see the new formula is just a less good version of the cheaper L’Oréal lash primer with a wear brush at a more expensive price. I’ve gone back to my luxury brand primers after making the move to l’Oreal when u tied the old formula because this new formula and brush is awful. It’s completely beyond me why a company would take an AMAZING product and turn it into… Whatever this now is. WHY WHY WHY?!? If its a matter of profit margin because this new formula must be so much cheaper to make then just charge more for the good primer i would have paid twice the price for it but I won't even use this new primer if you guys gave me a lifetime supply for free. It really annoys me when brands do this and makes me
stick with brands that don't engage in this kind of self-sabotage.

Why did they change the formula?

The older version of the 250 primer base "Millennial Pink" was the best on the market. but ever since they changed the formula its not as good at all its to soft and doesn't do what the old one did. I have been to every store I can find and bought what i could now its impossible to find anywhere. Is there a place that we can purchase the older version?

Little Product Not As Good as Previous

Bring back the old pink voluminous primer

You need to bring back the pink voluminous primer. This white primer is too wet and doesn't work nearly as well as the the old ‘pink’ product and not worth using. Please bring back the old formula. Why did you have to change it? I am now looking for a new primer. I'd give it no stars if I could.

New formula isn't anywhere near as nourishing.

I absolutely loved the millennial pink Lash Paradise primer. I'd gladly pay a bit more for it if it were still available. But it's not and this new soft white formula is straight trash. I don't necessarily care about the color as much as I care about the formula change. The pink primer was thicker and more nourishing; the white formula is drying and not as luxurious. I get the whole cleaner with better ingredients, but seriously, find a better excuse. Is it cheaper for you to manufacture while upping the cost? I'm looking for a replacement because this top notch product has crashed.

Please bring back the old formula. This used to be so good at creating volume it was almost too much. I would often use the Voluminous lash primer for a more subtle look, but both formulas changed. I’m on the hunt for a new primer.

I am not the type to write reviews, however I do not want to stay silent about this. I have been using L’Oréal lash paradise mascara for years. I’ve absolutely loved it. I’ve tried tons of mascaras at several different prices and this had always been the best. It was buildable, and gave a full, voluminous and wispy look. It was incredible. Everyone always asked if I was wearing false lashes. I have put so many people on this mascara. However, they recently increased the price for a worse product. I anxiously bought another tube of mascara after running out of my last one, and am extremely disappointed to see that the new formula is more watery. It is no longer buildable. In fact the more mascara added makes ur lashes stick together. They also make ur lashes look super thin. I hardly look like I even have any mascara on… They are no longer wispy, long, and despite what the packaging advertises, they are no longer voluminous. I am begging L’Oréal to please bring back the old formula. I really don’t want to have to find a different mascara after so many years. Don’t fix what ain’t broke.

We miss the old formula!

The old formula was the absolute best! Please bring it back this new one is drying and has no effect on lashes. The old one was beautiful and loved by many for years. If it isn't broken don't fix it. Now I need to find a new primer.

I bought this primer on a whim sometime in 2023 and fell in love. I was so happy to have found an affordable product that I could buy for years to come. My first tube ran out so I bought my second. I noticed the packaging had changed, but then quickly realized the formula had also changed. I used it a handful of times, giving it a fair chance, hoping it would get better and I have continually been disappointed by the results. The new formula is terrible. It's clumpy, weighs my lashed down terribly, and does not help to create any volume or length on my lashes. If it's not broken, don't fix it. Please listen to your consumers and bring back the old formula!!

I loved the millennial pink primer but the soft white that took it's place is horrible. My mystic black lash paradise now flakes. I never had that problem with the millennial pink primer. I loved the consistency and everything about it even made my lashes curl this new soft white formula does none of that.

Can you please bring that old formula? The new formula is awful! It’s stiff, makes lashes straight and flakes onto face. I have used the old formula for years and love it so much. It was definitely my holy grail makeup item. It’s made lashes full, plump and lifted. Please bring it back! There isn’t anything else out there like it!

I found this product to be a clumpy mess compared to the L'oreal Voluminous primer that I usually use. My store was out of the Voluminous, so I thought I'd try Lash Paradise base instead. Big mistake, wasted my money on that one. So clumpy, impossible to put it on smoothly. But I do highly recommend L'oreal Voluminous mascara primer!

Volumizes but weighs down lashes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm Asian with super straight lashes so I need mascara or primer that holds up my lashes like no other. Or my straight lashes look like I got no lashes even with mascara on because they're straight. This primer adds volume really nice and evenly. However when I put on mascara, all the curl in lashes are completely gone. So my lashes are straight on and looks like I only got eyeliner. Doesn't work on straight Asian lashes.

Pretty impressive

We were headed to see Taylor Swift in Pittsburgh so I knew it would be a good test with the heat, humidity and tears. By the end of the night, my mascara was the only makeup that was not a mess. I was happy with the product!

It worked pretty well and was not super thick and didn't leave a chunky look. Overall I thought it was great! I wish the applicator was slightly slimmer however so it would be a little easier to apply.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use a eyelash primer back in the day but honestly just forgot all about them. This really worked well to coat my lashes with a base coat that was easily covered with a black mascara giving it more volume to the lashes and helped them elongate the lashes as well! It was easy to cover the white with my regular mascara- which was my only concern and it worked out well! Didn't make it too clumpy.
