L ancien parfum de ce shampoing était parfaite, douce et agréable. Cette nouvelle version sent le parfum cheap. L'odeur est beaucoup trop forte en plus et complètement désagréable. J ai utilisé ce shampoing pendant une dizaine d années et j ai du changer depuis votre nouveau concept nauséabond !!!!

Why did L’Oreal go and change a product that we all loved!! Tell the person who made this decision that they annoyed a lot of loyal customers!! Go back to the original or I’ll find another company that sticks with what is working!! The new scent is horrible!!!!!!!!

Not for everyone

I was really hopeful for this product as I’ve used other shampoos and conditioners in this line. However, this gave me an allergic reaction all on my scalp to the point of severe flaking and itchiness for days. I am extremely disappointed as I have thin, damaged hair, and this ultimately just made it worse.

I am using this shampoo and conditioner from many years it gaves me good results . My hair are getting betting after using this. My hair were dry but after using this their dryness is getting better. The scent has changed and it is horrible!,

I have been using this shampoo for more than 5 years. Last month I purchased a shampoo and conditioner bottles as my existing one were low. I finally started using them this week and the new smell is absolutely horrible. It is too strong and perfumie. It gives me a headache. I just washed my hair for the third time with the new bottles and I just can’t use it any more. I noticed that the colour of the plastic bottles had changed but no where does it say on the bottle that there is a new scent and/or formula. Now I have 828ml of shampoo and of conditioner that I can’t use and it was expensive. Not happy at all.

It has changed my hair life!

Just amazing. No fake review here and Im not paid to leave this. I have been struggling for the better part of 10 years to find something that could tame my mixed combo hair. Ive tried so many salon, drugstore and natural products trying to find a fix. My hair just got ratty and dry and broke and nothing would work. Couple that with ageing, and Ive been thinking about shaving my head. I tried this on a whim. Omg! I finally have my old hair back. it is manageable, not greasy, tangle free and just wow. My loss has halted and finally, my poor hair is in recovery mode. No more fighting after the shower and crying when my brush is full. After one use, total difference. only downside was that the first week, my hairline did breakout a bit, but after that short adjustment period Im in love. please, never change the formula or stop selling! You have changed my life. Loreal for the win!!! I wish I would have found it earlier and saved $$$$$s spent trying to find the right thing.

I love this I got great results after one use of the shampoo and conditioner my hair is so soft and manageable I have curly dry frizzy hair and it helps with my frizz and makes my hair shine i will continue to use it definitely recommend and it smells amazing!!!!

With medium-length badly damaged, bleached blond hair, I thought seriously about having it all cut off. I saw this product advertising improvement in just "one wash" and thought what have I got to lose. Skeptical I tried it and WOW! It transformed my hair completely! Soft, shiny, healthy looking. I was even complimented the same day by a stranger on how pretty my hair was. I highly recommend this product, especially before you do anything drastic with your locks.

what happened to the repairing shampoo

I have been using Loreal Repairing shampoo for years and it worked good. The last time I bought shampoo I bought the Renewing shampoo by mistake and I don't like it at all. It is like washing your hair in conditioner. I have fine hair anyway and this makes it so limp I can't do anything with it. I will use it on my dogs. If I can't find the Repairing shampoo then I won't buy the Loreal anymore.

The first week or so, this was the best shampoo ever for my hair. Then the nightmare started. My hair began to have a waxy film that refuses to come off. All I do is touch my hair and my hands become sticky. I tried a scrub, clarifying shampoo, and even handwashing dishsoap-nothing works. I might try apple cider vinegar rinse next before I cut my hair. It truly is disgusting

I've tried this product for a few months now, and although I don't have terribly damaged hair, I do have some damage and split ends. This produced noticeable results with strengthening of my hair and long lasting hydration. It's worth a try!

I have mixed reviews about this product. I purchased it for my damaged and bleached hair. It is not to be confused with the 2% bottle. This one is 9% repair and keratin concentrate. I thought this would be like the Loreal Total Extreme but it is less moisturizing which is a downer. I bought this because it says it has keratin. But in the list of ingredients I don't see any keratin or protein listing. This was about 65% moisturizing for me. I had to condition twice. I think it would be great for non chemically treated hair to be honest. Just not for me.

I have thin/fine hair and use heat styling daily (blow drying and flat ironing) and I found my hair looking and feeling healthier after using this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo lathers well and rinses well, and my hair seemed to have less flyaways and split ends.

Heavy for Fine Hair

L’Oréal Paris Hair Expertise Total Repair 5 Shampoo works just fine as a shampoo, lathering as it should, smelling fine, and cleaned my hair. The only factor I found is that it seemed to leave a film on my hair after a few days of use. For fine hair this is an issue as it weighed it down. I can only assume that this is the 'repairing' aspect at work, but for my hair that wasn't really necessary. For someone with course, damaged hair this would probably be wonderful.

Yes, I was weak. I thought I should pamper myself with a volume shampoo from an exotic country. I'm worth it, right? Well, after one week of using the new shampoo and conditioner in their fancy, shmacy bottles, my hair was dry, stiff, bleachy looking. So I trot off to the faithful big box store and see your Elvive Super Duper Reviving products. A difference in one wash? I was on it! Showed my hay bale hair to my hubby so he could see the damage and then proceeded to L'Oreal my hair. What. A. Difference. Even hubby noticed! My hair was smooth, soft, not brittle, not dry. I love your products and the results, and no more going off the rails for me - it's L'Oreal all the way now! P.S. - You are a lot less expensive than Fancy Shmacy brand, too. Winner!!!

Loreal Shampoo has lost its quality recently

Loreal messed up with this new formula. I’m using Loreal Extream Damaged Shampoo for about 6 years. It was great in the beginning but since they have changed the lid color to purple it has lost its quality. It stopped smelling good and since then I have lost too much hair!!!!! Also it’s got more expensive! I pay same money for a smaller bottle! Yesterday I was watching my old videos and I surprised that I had so much hair on my head and it was super long and healthy!!!! It’s very frustrating and I REALLY WANT MY HAIR BACK! I think it’s time to say goodbye to Loreal shampoo. Bye bye... I’m looking for a shampoo and hair mask now from another brand. I live in New Jersey, USA

Worst purchase ever

I wanted to try the Extreme version of shampoo and conditioner and what a huge mistake. It stripped my hair of all natural oils and dried it out BAD! I loved the Total Repair but the Extreme version is AWFUL.

I absolutely loved this product! I have permed and colored hair. When I found that my hair was feeling dry and damaged I purchased this product to see if it would help. After using this product until it was complete my hair was feeling 10 times better. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone!
