Part 1 – Prep
Step 1: To get this look, start with dry hair that has been styled into loose waves. This will give your mane more texture, hide your pins more easily and make the final effect of the short, pinned hairstyle more realistic. Part 2 – Style
Step 2: Next up is creating your faux bob. Using your fingers, loosely pull your hair back into a low ponytail. Take a small section of hair and wrap it tightly around the base of your ponytail, hiding your elastic. Then, tuck the ends under the elastic.
Step 3: Take the end of your ponytail and slowly roll it under your hair at the back of your head until it is hidden.
