Usage
To create Superstar lashes, start by applying the Super-Volumizing primer, making sure to coat every lash. Then, apply the Super-Extending mascara on top of the primed lashes to create a showstopping lash look.
PRO TIP: Apply primer, then mascara, to one eye at a time before the primer dries.

Best mascara of all

truly the only mascara that makes my lashes look fuller and longer. I've used this for over 10 years. Unfortunately, I can no longer find the brown/black shade and black and blackest of black are way too dark for me. PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THE BROWN AGAIN

I’ve been a loyal customer to this product for years! I get compliments every week on my eyelashes wearing this product. I seriously love this mascara so much and I can’t imagine wearing anything else. I’m not sure if it’s discontinued, but I’m struggling to find this product anywhere now.

I bought this mascara hoping that it would be as good as it said in the ads. Sadly, it is not!
I am an older woman so I was looking for the volumizing effect that it professes to have. It was
no better than the other mascaras I have purchased. However, it did not go on without clumping and then when I tried to get it off that night, some of my eye lashes fell out!!! I used both a very good mascara remover and then just tried water. Neither really worked and as I said, I lost some of my eyelashes!!!

Giving this product 4 out of 5 stars because the primer is GREAT! I am glad to have found a product that holds my curl. My only complaint is that the primer is WHITE and not black. Loreal used to have a similar product with purple tubes and the primer was black making for your lashes to look that color. The white primer makes my eyelashes more of a gray than a black. If the primer was black, product would receive 5/5 stars.

BRING BACK THE PURPLE TUBE!!!!!!!!!! I have used the purple forever and now Im left with this one. WHY WHY WHY! I just want to cry right now! This seems like a bad business decision when there isn't any other product that made my lashes so beautiful without fake lashes.

Please bring back the black primer!

Please bring back the waterproof version with the black primer. The white is too hard to cover up and it contrasts with my dark skin making I look like I have lint on my lashes. Please I’m begging you, this was the best mascara ever!!!

Have been using in the black primer purple tube for years. The eyelashes are long and beautiful. I don't understand why they discontinued black primer in the purple cover which was even better as white primer takes more work to cover up and requires more layers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually love this mascara. I have very thin, blonde lashes and this gives great volume and length. Also being waterproof is a bonus for me. I’ve wasted so much money on other mascaras that didn’t come close to this one. I hope they’re not discontinuing it because I am also having a hard time finding it.

I have used this mascara (silver tube) for 2 years and it is the perfect mascara! I have trouble finding eye makeup that doesn’t transfer to under my eyes… this is IT!! And now it is hard to find. I HOPE they haven’t discontinued it! Because the purple package is NOT the same!! It smears!!

Loreal Voluminous Superstar - brown black I think

I've used this mascara for quite awhile, in brown black I think, and really liked it. But my most recent purchase was terrible. The silver paint on the mascara is peeling off. My friends and my husband laugh because it's on my face, my clothes, my bathroom counter, etc when they see me. What is going on; what has Loreal changed in the process?? I but I don't love having people tell me bright silver paint is on my face. Loreal, have you fixed the problem and will you send me a replacement from a new batch please?

I have used the washable type for years, Accidentally bought the Waterproof type - does not come off for DAYS!! Thinner formula than the washable type. Disappointing

I love this mascara it’s one of my favourites because of the great coverage and it doesn’t clump. It also gives you tons of volume however my only problem is the fact that it does tend to melt and give you those raccoon eyes if you don’t pay attention to it Especially on a hot day.

I like the way it adheres to the lashes and lasts for all day long it does not clump and has a beautiful shine which is not cheap looking I would recommend it for anyone who loves mascara

It does a great job at lengthening and the double sides are great! It can get clumpy if you don’t apply it properly so play around with it a bit!

This mascara comes double ended with a primer and mascara in one. The primer goes on white and helps to add volume and length to the lashes. The mascara then goes on black and evenly coats the lashes for extra volume.

Like the idea of a coating before applying mascara. Only wish the mascara brush was a comb on one side and a brush on the other side to spread the lashes while coating them so they don't clump.

I baught this mascara few weeks ago and this is my first time using mascara primers.This two steps mascara is a great product in terms of the volume it added to my lashes and the extraordinary length i got . Literally speaking my lashes reach my eyebrows. You can use it without the primer for everyday use if you want . I amdefinitely happy with my purchase. I got two in fact and willing to buy more for my sister to try.You need to try this out.

First off, I don't like this type of mascara to begin with and this one reaffirmed that. The 2 step process just makes your final look more clumpy and caked-on looking without the extension effect. I find it messier than a regular mascara and it doesn't seem to last as long.

Sticky and hard to remove.

I bought this mascara a few days ago. I normally use a different primer mascara that Loreal makes. I don't like this Voluminous version. It is sticky and very very hard to remove. My lashes do not look as long or thick as my normal mascara. I will not buy this again.

I didn't find that using the L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Superstar Mascara added any volume to my lashes at all. I would not purchase this product again.

Loreal Voluminous Superstar Mascara

I was always a fan of Loreal mascaras, this was my first time trying Voluminous Super Star, and it don’t disappoint! I loved it. The mascara looked great on and didn’t smudge. Smudging is huge for me as I have had many mascaras in the past, drugstore and high end, that just ended up on my face. This stayed where it was meant to be. I would definitley purchase this mascara.
