I bought this mascara three months ago, and I was very impressed with the high quality. I have never felt so beautiful! My eyelashes got huge and with a super natural effect. However, I can not find it anymore. Please give me back my beauty power.

Worst mascara I have ever bought

I love L'oreal mascara but wanted to try a different type so I bought voluminous butterfly sculpt, I have never been unhappy with any L'oreal product until now. The first thing I noticed was how thick and clumpy it was at first glance, after wiping the wand on a damp tissue several times I lightly coated my lashes and it not only did it cover my lashes but the inside of my eye as well. I have sensitive skin so I use coconut oil to remove my makeup and I have never had such a difficult time removing mascara. It wouldn't come off with coconut oil no matter how much I used or how may times I wiped it, I tried soap and water as well and after 5 minutes of lathering soap on my eyes it finally came off. If I read reviews before buying I would have decided against this mascara.

BLINK INTO IT, DON'T WIGGLE!

This lengthens and separates so well, which is great for my stubby short lashes. It's my go-to mascara for either by itself for a natural look or layering with a tubular mascara to add volume. The trick with this wand is to mostly blink into it. I wiggle ONLY at the base of my lashes but don't wiggle up through the length of my lashes then blink into it to coat the length of my lashes, and I have great results. If you want more volume, layer with a tubular mascara immediately after and before it dries (I use Perfekt mascara from Ulta for this layering purpose). I've used this mascara for almost 2 years now, and I hope L-Oreal never gets rid of it.

L’Oreal has mascara better than this or maybe I expected too much. I ended up using it and combining Volumous over it and it did great things, just not by itself

One of the worst formulas I've ever tried. This mascara made my lashes so goopy and clumpy. My eyes looked more like slimy slugs than butterflies. I hope I can return it.

Clumpy, Hard to use applicator

Found the applicator difficult to use. I ended up with uneven distribution of mascara on lashes. Supposed to increase volume, but I found it clumpy.

I have purchased L’Oréal mascara for as long as I can remember. Thought I would try a different kind. I have never used mascara that makes my eyelashes look this terrible! First application, the mascara was so thick and clumped! Removed and tried again with the same results. Only took this mascara with on my vacation and now am stuck with horrible mascara! So disappointed.

Just purchased this mascara and am sadly disappointed. I don’t have a problem with clumping, but after it dries the flaking is severe. Maybe my money would be better spent on lash extensions.

Terrible Mascara

This mascara is very clumpy - It makes my lashes stick together and and EXTREMELY hard to get off. After using makeup wipes, cream remover and a hot facecloth, it is still stuck on my lash line, flaking as the hours pass and took almost three days to full remove. I have used this brand, for other products and was very happy, however that is not the case with this mascara. I will not purchase it again.

I bought this and was disappointed the first time I used it. It doesn't go on well and even with makeup remover it is terrible to remove. The brush is not a brush but a wand with a few little wing things on it. I feel like this was a total waste of my money.

This is an okay mascara. I loved the way it applied except it kinda poked my upper lash line quite a bit. And the wand broke on mine so I thought I had just gotten a bad one so I repurchased it and it happened to me again.

And this is my absolute favorite. From the standard pink and green Maybelline many of us started with to mid-grade luxury mascaras, this one works for me. I like my lashes pronounced, but not fake and clumpy, and this totally fits the bill. Long lasting, no odor. Really, I don't have anything bad that I can say about it. I totally recommend it.

I really love the winged effect that the mascara gives my eyelashes. The only drawback I have is that the wand grabs too much mascara for my liking other than that I love it and it is a staple in my makeup routine.

I love this mascara! I didn't at first but I kept trying and I am so glad I did. I am 50 years old and this mascara made my lashes look AMAZING! You just have to keep swiping it. Better than any high end mascara I have tried.

I like all Loreal Butterfly mascara but have one main complaint, they dry out in less than 2 weeks. I tried the sculpt mascara and really liked it until week 2, same problem. Goopy and clumpy.
Don't know why I can't get more than 2 weeks out of a mascara?

I bought this item after browsing all the options for brush type, and the picture on the packaging made the brush look interesting, and I was willing to give it a try since it was something I had never seen before. I am disappointed I did. The brush head comes out thickly caked with mascara and therefore the teeny tiny "bristles" act more like a paint brush and they do not do the very important job of separating and defining each lash. The end look is goopey, clumpy eyelashes. I would love to be able to return this product but Walgreens doesn't take cosmetic returns.

Without a doubt one of the worst mascaras that I have ever used. I usually really like L'oreal mascara so I was willing to give this a try, but the formula is thick, the brush is bizarre and ineffective. One coat and you look like an aged starlet that has wandered out of Sunset Boulevard.

After using Mabeline Falsies Flared with much success for a few years I thought I would give this one a try. It was the worst! It looked like I had about two to three clumps of goop on each eye! I tried different methods to put it on with no success. Nothing I used could pry my lashes free of the goop. To make it worse I have tried several different methods to remove the mascara and despite the package stating that it comes off easily with soap and water, I have yet to find a soap or makeup remover to do the trick. Now I just have dark circles growing around my eye. Really an awful product. I tossed the package when I bought it and now can't return. Won't be making a mistake with switching brands again....

I was so excited to try this mascara. I've been a fan of the Voluminous Mascara since forever but I thought I'd switch it up a bit and try this after seeing a youtuber fall in love with it. This was definitely not to my liking...not even a little bit. It made me look like I had spider legs growing out of my eyes and I barely applied any product. I held onto it thinking that maybe I just didn't use it properly (the wand is shaped funny) but no matter what kind of technique I use, I still get the same looks: clumpy lashes. So disappointed.

Worst mascara EVER!

Was so excited to try this mascara...from the ads it looked like a great product. Turns out it the worst mascara I've come across in YEARS of using it. My lashes are covered with clumps, and no amount of combing with a lash comb will fix it. I tried cleaning off the brush completely, which comes out of the tube with an excess of mascara, and then trying it...it's still a mess! I've used products that cost only a few dollars compared to this pricey one and they were way better! This is going in the trash. What a waste of money! I'm giving it one star only because you can't give zero.

When I purchased my first Voluminous Butterfly Sculpt mascara I loved it! However, when I bought my second tube the product was very clumpy and dry. I thought maybe it was a defective product, a one off, so I purchased another tube. Sadly, the result was the same. Within a month the product dried up, but I still loved the way the brush sculpted my lashes, so I bought another tube. This time, the sculpting brush is twisted and flimsy; it's barely usable! Very disappointed.

On a whim, I decided to try a new mascara so I grabbed this one. I hated it instantly because it clumped way too much for my liking. After doing some research, I learned how to properly use this brush. But even using it properly left more clumps than I would have liked. Then when I go to remove it, it's almost impossible to remove with my makeup remover. I have to use the strongest astringent I have, which causes me to break out. Gave it three tries, I still hate it. Complete waste of money.

I bought this last week and it has been awful. The mascara applies very clumpy and does not do what it says. The applicator brush itself is a very bad design. I am surprised this product made it through product testing before it was put on the market. Maybe it never went through testing... Definitely do not waste your money on this.

Spider legs!!

I purchased this product yesterday. Tried it for the first time this morning, and it was a total fail! Made my lashes very clumpy, they looked like spider legs. I made sure to follow the directions on the back of the package because the brush is not your normal applicator. Totally unsatisfied. I would not recommend!

I have been buying this mascara for several months now. I love the way it looks however it seems to clump quicker and quicker with each purchase. I seem to have to buy new every few weeks now. I really like LOREAL mascaras and decided to try this one. I usually opt for the other butterfly styles from LOREAL or Voluminous Original and the Voluminous Primer-all great. This was not a winner. It was clumpy and no matter how many times I went through it with the applicator, or a different applicator, it would not cooperate. I threw it out. Try one of the other LOREAL formulas.
