Usage
Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse. Follow with the Dream Lengths Conditioner. For extra care and best results, use as part of the complete Dream Lengths range. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

The amount of hair I lost with using this shampoo and conditioner is very concerning. Just clumps of hair falling out and it VISIBLY thinned out my hair and honestly made me even think it had something to do with my health because of how much was coming out. Switched to a different shampoo and immediately noticed a difference. Barely any hair came out with the new shampoo. Please use with caution!!!!!!

Sorry but why did you change the dream length line

I’m highly disappointed that they changed the formulation and the bottle and also they changed the bottle cap?? The formula felt way too oily for my hair and the bottle… the functionality is just horrible I’m sorry not trying to be shady… I was terrified it would break or pop on me. Thankfully it didn’t.

Not my favourite due to lack of lather.

I love the Dream Lengths line, but... this shampoo, the straightening one, doesn't suds on my head and I feel like I have to wash it twice, and even then, it seems to have very poor lather at the scalp. Otherwise seems fine, but I prefer the other Dream Lengths shampoo that is not in the transparent bottle.

The smell was nice but it made my hair fall out so much , I have very little hair and now i have even less, i wouldnt recommend this shampoo if fall out is already an issue you have because it will make it fall out more. didn't see much growth either , the only positive i can give it is the smell

Waste of money.

If I could give the new formula a zero rating, I wouild. The Restoring shampoo was amazing; my hair was fuller, shiny, and smooth. I ran out, and didn't notice the change in the bottle label when I picked it up. By the second shampoo, I knew something was wrong. My hair was flat and dull, no bounce. I checked the bottle and read "Split Ends"; assuming I bought the wrong one, I took it back to the store of purchase, only to find the Restoring formula no long available. This Split Ends product is not good for my hair at all. Please bring back the original, or tell me which one is the most like it, because it certainly isn't the Split Ends one.

I'm disappointed that you reformulated this shampoo. Now that it has Keratin I can't use it. When it was restore, it was so much better. It's like the saying goes, "if its not broke don't fix it"

Ruined my daughter's hair

I started using this on my 7yr daughter's hair at first we liked it, it has a great smell but after a few weeks
( we only wash her hair twice a week ) her hair started to become dry and knotted easily I thought maybe she needed a trim so we trimmed about 3inchs off a nice fresh cut but still her hair was getting worse, I have now switched back to the previous brand we used and I just had to buy other hair treatments to attempt to save her hair, This shampoo/conditioner line left a waxy build-up on her hair over time causing it to become extremely dry, it feels awful, grimy when her hair is dry NOTHING is helping it, her hair is so knotted when wet attempting to brush it is causing alot of breakage and hairloss I 100% regret ever using this product on my daughter's hair

Terrible since the change

I’ve used this product for many years when it was restoring shampoo and condition, now they changed some ingredients and it’s split end repair and it’s absolutely terrible. It went from the best shampoo and conditioner to the worst.

First of all, you have the Restoring shampoo title but split ends photo. The Restoring shampoo is great, just like its predecessor the Extraordinary oils shampoo. Two best shampoos out there. worked amazing. Until you got rid of them for the split ends shampoo that literally ruined my hair and makes split ends worse. If anyone in corporate reads these at all PLEASE bring back the extraordinary oils or restoring shampoo and kill the split ends before you loose all your loyal customer from ruining their hair.

Why did you change the restoring shampoo to split ends? The new formula makes my hair greasy! The restoring shampoo was perfect. I have bought up all the old formula now I have to find a new shampoo. I have tried the other L’Oréal shampoos and they all make my hair greasy. I will be switching to a different brand.

It is sooo good for my dry curly hair! I was using this more natural biotin shampoo for a while, and it was ok but my hair was always super dry and frizzy and not super defined, but this shampoo and conditioner makes my hair really hydrated and shiny and the curls are much more defined than before. I'm super impressed especially because it was really cheap compared to what I usually buy. I had a classmate with a similar hair type that recommended it to me when I asked her how her curls always look so hydrated and defined when my hair was always frizzy, and I'm glad I bought it instead of repurchasing the one I was using before. I recommend!

This is genuinely the best shampoo I have ever used, I have insanely thick and frizzy hair, this makes her shiny and sleek even without any heat products, I will drive to a different store to get this if the one I go to is out of stock

I love how moisturizing it is, and I also love how detangling the conditioner is. My hair used to be way more difficult to detangle before I started using this dream lengths shampoo and conditioner.

I have long hair and wanted something nourishing. I love the smell of the shampoo and conditioner but it causes extreme dandruff and dryness in my hair. I have to stop using it. It seemed to have the opposite effect for me. I gave 2 star because I liked the fragrance but doesn’t live up to the claims. I will not purchase again a total waste of money.

This product is AMAZING and I would totally recommend it to anyone dealing with breakage. It made my hair so soft and shiny and smells so good. It is perfect for my hair type and length and works so well with the Dream Lengths Conditioner and No Hair Cut Cream. I would also suggest rinsing your hair in cold water after washing out the shampoo for extra shiny and luxurious hair.

Strongly dissatisfied

I have only been using this product for 3 months and my hair has suffered because of it. I am a natural hair girly with 4a to 4b curl pattern. This has stripped my hair and caused my hair to fall out. I now have a bald spot with a damaged curl pattern. My hair is going to continue to fall out as it has thinned it out. At this rate, the damage is irreversible and deeply saddened by it as for women our hair is everything to us and to have it damaged by a product that advertises healthy hair and suitable for all hair types is devastating. I will strongly not recommend this product for women with curly hair.

Burned my scalp!!

Ugh! Can I leave a 0 star?! This shampoo, conditioner AND dry shampoo from this line literally burned the heck out of my scalp! I’ve never had this happen before with any other brands. I’m leaving this review to warn others from having this happen. You can see the spots that burned me, it’s all red and swollen, super itchy, burning and making my scalp peel, it’s absolutely horrible.
