True Match True Match Powder Foundation C2 Natural Ivory

Have used this powder exclusively for more years than I can remember. There were so many perfect things about this powder that I never strayed to another. Formula was perfect, the round compact was perfect, sponge applicator was perfect. WHY, Loreal, why? Please don't respond with any "saving the environment" excuses either. I've read that in some of your responses to other comments and it is just so obvious, an absolute scam corporations use to cut costs and make more money. Please don't talk down to your loyal customers that way, Loreal.

The newer formula is not nearly as good as the old version. First off, the new "puff" is terrible, the product sticks more to the puff than comes off of the puff on to your skin. The powder is also just difficult to get onto the puff, like it's too caked on to itself. So disappointing that they would change from the old version that so many loved!!

I just replaced this powder and found there is no longer a pad for applying it! What the heck? Now I read that the reformulation is not good either.

I agree with Sarah in Los Angeles the new version of this is not worth buying...loved the old but will not repurchase...moving on

True Match Powder Foundation used to be the gold standard. I’m talking holy grail status — the kind of product you don’t even think about replacing because it just works. I’ve been loyal to it for over 15 years, which says everything. The finish was smooth, the coverage was buildable yet natural, and it blended effortlessly into the skin. It was reliable, consistent, and honestly hard to beat. But this new reformulated version? Completely different story — and not in a good way. The texture feels noticeably harder and almost chalky, making it difficult to pick up any product on a brush or even with your fingers. When I swatch it, there’s barely any pigment payoff. It lacks the coverage that made it so dependable before — it honestly feels more like children’s play makeup than a high-quality foundation. What’s most frustrating is that no one asked for this change. The original formula wasn’t broken, so why “fix” it? Reformulating a longtime favorite and ending up with something that performs worse is incredibly disappointing, especially for loyal customers who trusted the product for years. Sadly, this isn’t something I’ll be repurchasing. It’s just not the same product anymore, and definitely not worth it.

I have very dry skin that often feels tight and this is the only powder I use on my face. It gets rid of the shine without drying or tightening my skin. It also looks really pretty when I put it on and goes on really smooth. It comes in a wide variety of colors. I’m pretty fair and often can’t find a match for my skin tone. I’m able to get an exact match and another one that is a close 2nd. LOVE IT!

This new powder product is very disappointing! To call it a foundation is laughable. It doesn't cover any blemishes or uneven skin tone. If this is their replacement for their TruMatch Mineral powder then they have made a very bad choice. The TruMatch Mineral powder was their best matte product ever used by many, including myself, for over 20 years.
