[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] L’Oreal Extensionist Mascara (in Black) definitely delivers when it comes to length and volume! After just two coats, my lashes look super defined and noticeably more dramatic. Almost as if I’m wearing lash extensions! (However, I don’t stop at two coats! ;)) The formula itself is great. It’s very lightweight on the lashes, even after a number of coats. It lasts all day without smearing or flaking, but still washes off easily at the end of the day, which is a huge plus. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it hasn’t seemed to dry out or anything yet. The brush is my only hesitation. While it claims to have over 300 bristles (which I certainly believe, because it does separate lashes well), I feel like the design of the brush could be tweaked a bit. With that being said, I do love the packaging. It’s very sleek. Overall, I really like the look this mascara gives and the staying power is solid. My only question is the price— it feels a bit high for a drugstore mascara, unless I can catch a sale. Still, if you’re looking for length, volume, and that “lash extension” effect, this one is worth a try!

A one of a kind mascara, that provides a lot of volume to my eyelashes and stays in place the whole day. I am impressed about how well it builds volume step by step and it makes a huge difference to any makeup I try.

In the end, I finally decided to leave my review about this mascara. What can I say: the mascara is genuinely good quality. It doesn’t flake, it doesn’t smudge, and by the end of the day I don’t look like an angry panda with dark circles under my eyes. When this product first appeared on the market, I tried to figure out how to order a sample before buying it, but unfortunately I couldn’t find a way. So I decided to take another chance and purchase it anyway. Usually I fall for advertising and later regret the money spent and the hope of finding my perfect mascara, but this time I did not regret it at all. The brush is very comfortable to use, it creates a great effect on the lashes, and my sensitive eyes never reacted badly to it. The only thing I did to make the mascara last longer was occasionally clean the tube opening from dried mascara so nothing would fall inside, and I would wipe the brush from time to time. Yesterday I finally had to let that tube go simply because it was completely empty, and I bought a new fresh one exactly the same. I also want to add a few words about the price. The price is quite reasonable compared to other expensive mascaras that did not work for me and left the feeling that the money was wasted and the product was not what the advertising promised. So that is another pleasant advantage of this purchase.

I’ve tried probably over 100 different mascara brands and this one definitely lives up to the hype! From the applicator to the actual formula, it dies exactly what it says it will do. I have medium thickness and length lashes and this mascara made it look like I was wearing natural style falsies! I used a lash curler before I applied it but I can definitely tell that this mascara helped my lashes hold that curl all day. It also does not flake like some other more expensive popular high end brands which is a huge plus for the price point. I also only needed to apply 2 coats to get that length and fullness as advertised. I highly recommend this product if you are looking to get extra length and fullness out of a mascara.

Really enjoying using this mascara, gives the lashes good coverage with out being clumpy. It lasts all day without ending up all round the eyes.

Incredible length This mascara is mainly designed for lengthening, and it does that very well. The formula contains tiny fibers that help lashes look longer—almost like subtle lash extensions.

The applicator is lovely, curved and slender, and does a great job at separating and coating the lashes. They really look much longer and curled, making my eyes pop. The effect lasts the whole day too - I love it!

The lengthening of this mascara is amazing! I have such short stubby lashes and this did wonders for them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this, but I didn’t see any super lengthening. It is very build able and the wand is nice. The tube is pretty and well decorated and I didn’t experience any flaking. It was long lasting and had decent volume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Extentionist mascara provides serious drama to your eyelashes. It’s lightweight and adds curl with length. There is mild clumping if you add too much. If you want to add multiple layers then let the prior one dry first to avoid the clumps. It stays on all day without flaking. Removal is easy with mild removal or a makeup towel.

Yes it does the job in terms of achieving amazing length, and my lashes look healthier after use plus it doesn’t smudge which is great, but it is by far the clumpiest mascara I’ve ever used and trust me I’ve tried a lot. It also takes a lot of coats to get a decent amount of volume. I have to use a spoolie to try and reduce the clumping but even then it still looks pretty bad. My lashes don’t look like either the pictures or the reviews I see on TikTok. And the formula is so incredibly wet is gets everywhere but is also ridiculously tough to remove, even after I hold a cotton pad soaked in eye makeup remover on my lashes for ages. So yeah, amazing for length. But in terms of pretty much everything else, it’s incredibly disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be buying again, I’ll go back to my trusty Benefit mascaras which yeah are double the price but you get what you pay for. I don’t know whether there was a manufacturing issue with the tube I got, but what I see online versus the results on my lashes are vastly different.

Lovely mascara, lasts all day without smudging. The only little problem I had with it is that it can make your eyelashes to stick together.

This product is a total waste of money. Ridiculously thin brush, subsequently getting mascara onto eyelid. The actual mascara takes numerous reapplications until it darkens the lashes and does not elongate the lashes in any way. Such a misnomer as it didn't extend my lashes at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mascara formula was thick and hard to work with. I found it was so thick it coated the brushes entirely and was hard to distribute. I would end up with clumps at the base of my lashes and they would stick together. I tried working my lashes more with the wand, even wiping down the wand but I would just end up with clumps. The formula dries stiff and hard. One positive is that it is easy to remove and does not flake once dry. This one just didn't work for me.

I’ve been using this mascara for a little while now, it’s great! It definitely lengthens lashes. I don’t need to worry about accidentally rubbing my eyes and ending up with panda eyes, there’s been zero transfer.

The tube is a super sleek silver that looks great in my makeup bag and feels really nice in my hand with oversized bumpy lettering that almost serves as a gripper. The wand is slim with the right amount of curve and bristles. It completely extended my lashes with a few swipes!

I’ve never had sooo many compliments about my eyelashes since I’ve started using this! It’s non smudging (I need this with my watery eyes) and it doesn’t clump! I only apply one coat my lashes literally touch my brows! The BEST mascara!

I got this gifted and I think the wand is lovely it does coat the lashes and it does extend definitely my lashes looked longer which I love, but I didn’t notice to much of a curl stay and it stayed wet for so long that I think it uncurled my lashes!
