HOW TO USE
Shake well before use. Hold spray 12 inches (30 cm) away from face & spray in a circular motion for even distribution. Keep eyes & mouth closed. Wipe excess product. Do not intentionally inhale. In case of irritation, rinse immediately with water. Warning: Flammable. Avoid fire, flame and heat during application and until fully dry. Use only in a ventilated area. Avoid spraying in eyes. Contents under pressure. Do not puncture or incinerate. Do not store at temperatures above 120F (50C). Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed. I love your setting spray! The only downside is the scent—it makes my 10-year-old son feel sick when I use it. Do you have a sweet-fragrance version or one with a different, lighter scent? That would be wonderful.

HEAVY DUTY Setting Spray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It really does lock in makeup, and its a good last step if you need things to not budge. However, it comes at the cost of it smelling and feeling like a hairspray on your face. Something else I noticed is that you really need to not get it stuck in your hair. If you do and try to rub it out, it ends up looking like dandruff in your edges. It is a give and take when using the product, but awareness can avoid some of these cons when you spray it. Other than that, I have sensitive skin but it has never caused any breakouts. It comes out in a strong but well atomized spray and the slim packaging makes it comfortable to hold. The finish also ends up being a soft satin, not quite matte.

I used this for my Halloween makeup look to really make sure it worked and this picture is from two hours in and I wore my make up for another four hours and it looks the exact same..

There isn’t a product out there that maintains my makeup looking fresh and on no matter what. The one negative is that it can feel super heavy on your face, so I would not use for every day wear, but it is the best option out there for special occasions when you need your makeup to stay perfect all night.

My makeup stayed in place all day without budging, even through the rain. I was really impressed with how well it held everything together. Another thing I appreciated was how lightweight it felt on my skin without leaving that heavy or overly sticky feeling.
The only thing that caught me off guard was the mist. I opened my eyes a little too soon after spring and experience burning while the mist was still in the air. So, definitely give it a moment to settle before opening your eyes! Aside from that, I’ve been really impressed with this setting spray. It performed better than I expected, and I’d definitely use it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the L’Oréal Infallible Makeup Setting Spray and am not a big fan. For one thing, it describes itself as a mist, but when it comes out, I feel like I’m spraying an aerosol hairspray in my face. It’s much too hard and aggressive all at once. It kind of feels like hairspray to me too with a little bit of a slightly tacky feeling to it on my face. It also leaves my face feeling very dry and tight in an uncomfortable way. To its credit, it does a pretty decent job keeping makeup in place and works quickly (the container says in 3 seconds). I think it just depends on what type of look you’re going for and how you like your face to feel. It leaves your face very matte, which while I prefer a dewier setting mist, I’m ok with and have used matte ones before too. However, I just could not get used to how dry it made me feel when I already have dry skin. This will definitely not be a repurchase for me.

However, if you’re looking for something to help keep your makeup in place for hours, I think this would be a good setting spray to get, especially for the price. The first picture was right after I applied the spray; as you can see, it left a little shine to my skin. The second picture is after a full day’s wear of make up – about eight hours. Overall, I think it held up well!

I used it before work with just simple light maleup and still looked fresh for a night out with friends afterwords. It is very alcohol based with a strong odor of alcohol so make sure you dont have any open wounds, but the smell of it went away quickly.

I used this after my liquid makeup was on and as my final step. It dries fast, it sprays out evenly and your makeup is not budging all day.
Some setting sprays can leave dots on your face and pull your makeup. This one sits perfectly on top of the skin.
