How to use the setting powder:

What is a loose setting powder and why should I use it?
A loose setting powder, like Infallible Blur-fection, consists of finely milled, "airy" particles designed to be swept over your foundation or concealer. Great formula, terrible packaging. You can't close off the powder when traveling with it and it barely comes out of the tiny holes. The Elf Halo Glow loose powder packaging is way better.

I’ve seen a lot of different people on TikTok using a pink powder under their eyes to brighten the area, so I was excited to use it! It definitely brightened the area without being too striking. I love the product. My 3 stars is for the packaging. I still have product left and can’t get it out of the bottom. It is hard to get the powder out of the bottom. I have had to bang the container just to get stuff out for the last 2 weeks.

I’m not a fan of wearing makeup yet I thought I would try this an it certainly gives this 64 years young lady’s face that light glow without all the heavy caked on makeup. I was worried it would look ashy and wouldn’t blend well on dark skin but it does the opposite. The soft pink tone gives such a beautiful brightening effect without looking chalky, and it really smooths out my skin for that blurred, airbrushed finish. The blurring effect is nice and minimal but I also don’t wear a ton of the powder, just enough to take an edge off of the shine on my forehead and undereye areas. One improvement could be adding a travel poof to the packaging, if you don’t have a brush or poof already to apply the powder then you have to buy one to be able to use this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was concerned that this setting powder would look ashy on my deep dark skin (with a neutral undertone), but I was pleasantly surprised that it blended well and gave my skin a pretty finish. My pores looked blurred and my usually oily T zone remained matte. The reason I did not give it for stars is I found it incredibly difficult to shake the powder out of the holes. The holes are so tiny and even shaking it hard only a small amount came out.

Good but there’s product left that won’t come out

Overall I really like this powder. My biggest complaint is that there’s no way to remove the inner lid/shaker top. I have two containers with product that I can’t get out. If anyone has been successful in getting the last bit of powder out, can you please share how you did it? It’s annoying enough that I’m looking for a similar powder from a different brand.

It’s a beautiful powder albeit a bit expensive for the amount of product. We need a jumbo size option, a translucent light medium shade and a translucent medium shade. The current shades are too light, dark or pink for me. You’ve got a winning product here. Capitalize on it.

The packaging and holes helps control excess powder from being lost but makes it a bit difficult to release the product. The scent is powdery not too strong.
