Really wanted to love this. Leaving two stars as it does look nice when you first put it on. However, I agree with the other reviews. I let it dry fully and even then it only lasts an hour max, even less if you eat/drink.

I tested the L’Oréal Paris HYA Tint Gloss in Bordeaux mostly during the day. The shade is really flattering and easy to wear, even with just one light layer. The texture feels comfortable and not overly sticky, and it gives a nice shine right away. The only downside is that the gloss fades after eating or drinking, so I needed to reapply. I LOVE the L’oréal Hyaluron Tint Lip Stain Serum in shade ‘640 - Tea Time.’ This is the FIRST and ONLY lip stain I have ever used, and I have been converted over! I really enjoy how the colour does not accidentally stick to the teeth in comparison to coloured lip gloss/lipsticks. In the photos, I kept the lip stain on for longer than usual to show how it sets on the lips! Though the photos do not show it very well, the colour is very even, stains fast, and lasts all day. For the daytime, I remove the lip stain after a few seconds for a more natural look (especially at my workplace). However, it works great as a nighttime look if left on for longer. Personally, I prefer a glossy finish, so I apply a clear gloss on top afterwards. The lip stain has a faint chemical smell, but it does not bother me since it is only if you are super up close/whiffing the wand. I will be definitely purchasing the same shade again in the future, as I have done for other L’oréal makeup products (they are all amazing!) I applied this tint gloss in morning before going to gym. I did like the color but it stays on lips as sticky. Also, I could not bear the smell it has after applying. I do stay on for about 3-4 hours if you apply in good amount. Beside color, there is nothing that I liked about this product. It goes on glossy at first and then leaves a soft, natural tint that looks like “my lips but better.” It’s not sticky at all and feels more like a lip serum than a gloss. The color is subtle but perfect for everyday wear. It doesn’t last all day, but it’s easy to reapply and keeps my lips feeling smooth and moisturized.
