Traditional Pencil

I got this and have been using it off and on for the last week. While i love the color and find its a nice change from my go-to jet black eyeliner, especially if you want a more natural look. But, I have to say I did not like the pencil part. It was dry, it wouldn't glide and would sometimes break. I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes.

I’ve been testing out this new eye pencil by L’Oréal in the shade Burgundy Cashmere. The shade is very pretty, it’s a true burgundy. I was drawn to it because I felt it would make my brown eyes pop, it’s also beautiful on green or hazel eyes. I do appreciate that this comes in a traditional sharpen pen, I find they are less likely to break and last longer. However, I did find that the formula was a bit dry. It made it hard to get enough colour payoff, and I needed to press quite hard to get enough pigmentation. Longevity was decent and it didn’t transfer. It’s not a bad formula, but I do have creamier and easier to work with eyeliners.

I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes. This pencil was super easy to use. It gave a nice rich dark black colour. I used it to line my lower lash line and it gave my eyes intense definition. Definitely adding it to my rotation.

This was an excellent eyeliner! It lasted on me all day and stayed in place. It was smooth and creamy during application, but dried down nicely. I loved the bronze colour with my dark eyes as well.

perfect smokey eye

I received this gel eyeliner in “brown leather” to try and it is the perfect brown shade for my hazel eye. it creates a beautiful smokey eye look but can also be used on its own for daytime use. The gel formula glides and blends beautifully. This lasted an entire 8 hours and did not smudge during a humid evening. This pencil will also last a long time and go a long way.

I must say it’s one of the best shades of blue out there. I have very light brown eyes and I love applying blue and green eyeliners and this is one of the shade that I’m in love now.
