I received this for free from Top Box to review and was excited to do so. I like the bottle it feels Luxe for a drugstore item. I also found the scent to be pleasant and not overpowering.
I tested this both in the evening and in the morning with wet hair and with dry hair. Although I liked how my hair felt after using it because of the weather/condition of the air, my hair would still get fairly frizzy. I’m looking forward to trying it in the fall and winter because I think it will perform better during those times.

Hair Surprisingly Softer

First, I want to thank TopBox and L’Oréal for this opportunity. I did not expect anything. It was to my surprise that my hair became softer almost immediately. It also slightly straightened my hair, which is a plus.
My hair being softer and slightly straighter makes it more manageable. The product does not leave a mess on my hair, as well as, my hands. The formula used to make the serum is lightweight. It does not weigh down the hair.
I applied the Extraordinary Oil - Midnight Serum at night before bedtime, as instructed. As mentioned above, I felt (and still feeling) my hair becoming softer. It lasted throughout the next day.
Moreover, it smells great. It reminds me of the Gucci floral perfume and Middle Eastern perfume scents.
L’Oréal really outdid themselves with this hair product. Two people already told me that the serum smelled good. I would definitely recommend this product to family, friends and colleagues.

Product comes in glass bottle which is a nice change from companies using plastic that can crack easily. The cap also has a locking feature which was great for me to pack this in overnight bags. Product has a sweet, floral scent which isnt overpowering, but might be an irritant for those sensitive to smells. Formula is light, not too thin that it's liquidy but absorbs quickly. I used at night to help with frizz the next morning, and also used a little less during the day to help style and enhance my curls/waves. Start with less, and add more if needed, so as not to weigh your hair down or overload and cause that greasy effect.

I wanted to love this hair serum, but I find it too light for my hair type. I have coarse hair that's been chemically straightened. While this product is for all hair types, I didn't find that it moisturized my hair that well or softened it in the morning. Perhaps it's better for people with fine hair. One thing that I do love though is the smell of this hair serum. One of the best I've smelled in a long time

I received the L’Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Extraordinary Oil Midnight Serum from topbox circle completely free. So the first thing I noticed when I used it was how amazing it smells just reading the name alone It is literally extraordinary. I love that when I put it in my hair. It didn’t leave an oily residue after applying in my hair after I was done it’s like I never use the product at all. Which I’m surprised because it says that it has precious Camellia oil in it. I have 4C hair so my hair has coils and applying this to my hair my fingers just went through with a breeze I didn’t struggle or anything. So far I like it a lot I want to get the other product that you use after using this one. It’s called extraordinary oil, sublime, hair perfector to see how they work together.

Best hair product ever! I apply it to the ends of my hair before going to bed and leave it on overnight. When I wake up, my hair is incredibly soft, silky, and feels much more hydrated. I have been using this product for almost two weeks and can see a difference in the ends of my hair. The ends don't appear as dry as before and the split ends are less noticable. I used this product at night before going to bed, only a few pumps were needed to moisturize the ends of my hair. I really liked the scent of this product, although some might find it a little strong. I found it was similar to linen appears I had used in the past.
In the morning, my ends felt less dry and there was no great stain on my pillowcase.
I will likely purchase this once I have finished the bottle I have.

I tried this product out by applying a few drops of the serum to the lengths of my hair before bed. The serum is thicker than expected but did a great job taming my frizz when I woke up the next day and did it without making my hair look oily. I love the scent as well! I love love love the smell of this. I find it will weigh your hair down if you use too much. It does keep my frizz level down and keeps my hair straight after I straighten it all the way until my next wash.
