What is the EverPure Bond Repair+ Pre-Shampoo?
This is our most intensive and potent treatment within the Bond Repair range. It is a "pre-wash" treatment designed to be applied before you shampoo to rebuild broken hair bonds at the source and significantly strengthen the hair fiber.
How is the Pre-Shampoo different from a regular conditioner or mask?
While conditioners work primarily on the hair surface, the Pre-Shampoo is specifically engineered to penetrate deep into the hair cortex. It contains our highest concentration of active ingredients—a 22% Bond + Amino Acid Complex—to reconstruct the internal structure of the hair that has been damaged by color, bleach, or heat.
What results can I expect after one use?
You will see a visible reversal of damage. When used as a full system (Pre-shampoo, Shampoo, Conditioner, and Oil Serum), hair is 3X stronger with 7X fewer split ends and significantly less breakage.

While the Pre-Shampoo is a powerful standalone treatment, it is designed to work in synergy with the Bond Repair+ range. The "Fortified Internal Shield" is most effective when the hair is treated, cleansed, and sealed using the complete 4-step system.
Is this treatment safe for color-treated hair?
Yes. This formula is 100% Sulfate-Free, Paraben-Free, and free of harsh salts. It is exceptionally gentle on color-treated hair, ensuring your color remains vibrant while the hair fiber is being repaired and strengthened.
How often should I use it?

Grave’s Disease - Try this!

Scrolling through Reddit searching for “Graves’ disease hair” and got this recommendation. It’s been 2 years of trial and error with other products (no success) and finally - JACKPOT!!! After only a few uses, my hair is the closest to my hair before Graves. Hair ratting up at the crown? GONE. Full and soft hair? BACK! Happy tears!!

Concentrate is faulty

The bond repair concentrate pre shampoo doesn’t wash out. I have tried it 2x. Each time it leaves my hair heavy and greasy. I shampooed 2x with the bond repair shampoo and even used the conditioner afterward. I love all these products but the concentrate goes on like cream cheese and sticks to the hair like thick glue. The process is too lengthy to get bad results like this. I’ve been using the shampoo and conditioner since 3 months and decided recently to try the concentrate step. The results are horrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample size of the bond repair pre shampoo treatment, I was not familiar with this type of product. I usually just used shampoo and conditioner. My hair is extremely dry and damaged due to color treatments, there are hair products which help with hair damage, but this product was amazing. There was a major difference in the first treatment, my hair looks a lot improved with the pre treatment and more natural, not straw looking like before. This pretreatment is very efficient, I definitely recommend it to anyone with hair damage.

I like the results but not the formulation, so instead I'd rather use the bond conditioner which is a little thinner. If you have coarse hair though this would probably work good for you!

Just for context, my hair is relaxed and has lack luster due to me leaving my deep conditioners/masks for a long period of time. Since I have been using this pre treatment I have noticed that I am experiencing less breakage and icy hair is starting to get shiny. I like this product because I am seeing results within less than a month of using it and it’s an affordable option to repairing my hair.

I have Sisterlocks and I’ve dyed my hair a few times past couple years and my locs felt dry and limp. Hair did not look alive. The first time I did the bond treatment my hair literally came back. I don’t wash my hair often so I didn’t know how long it would last so next wash I did a regular shampoo(different brand) and it didn’t look the same. I immediately did the bond treatment again and boom it’s beautiful again ! Best product and I’m happy I didn’t go with Oplex!

I love this pre poo but I think it makes my hair feel so much better when I use it after shampoo like a hair mask. This entire line smells amazing and leaves my hair looking and feeling great. After using this line, it any other l'oreal ever pure line, I can usually go 4 days in between washes. I don't use a dry shampoo but sometimes I can push my wash day to 5... if I use the ever pure clarifying line.

I have naturally curly,aging hair that has been bleached and colored for several years. I was ready to cut it short to remove the frizzy, damaged ends but I thought that I would give this regimen a shot. Sooo glad that I did! My hair looks healthier and shinier than it has in YEARS. After just two uses my hair stopped breaking. They got healthy shine and 70% less frizz. I wash my hair to rid of products buildup then I apply concentrate for about an hour. Follow with shampoo and conditioner. I keep the conditioner for up to 3 hours and rinse with cool water. Style it using a lot less additional products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't dye my hair but I did try it for my husband. He used to dye his hair from brown to red, his hair was quite dry and fibrous. I ran the product through his hair from the roots to the ends, I didn't use it directly on the scalp, I wrapped his hair and left the product on for 5-10 minutes. After 10 minutes, he rinsed his hair and washed his hair again with shampoo, he didn't use conditioner. I helped him wipe his hair and dry it, and his hair felt softer and less dry. After using it 6 times, I saw his hair improved and became less dry, with a soft shine. The product is worth a try for those who dye their hair and like to change hair color often.
