I love it! It works really well on my hair. It was the first product I tried when I first cut my hair short and did the job, but I started trying other things...but I'm glad I tried Matt and Messy fibre paste again, it's a great product! It keeps my hair up and it looks and feels natural. It's lightweight and doesn't weigh your hair down and I find it doesn't built up too much in your hair. It ticks all the boxes. L'Oréal please keep making this stuff! It's the best styling product I've tried.

Matte & Messy - Great on Dry Hair

Like most L'Oreal hari products it is very good...though i find depending on weather the matte paste does not hold up as well os other, but good product....use on dry hair only.....wet hair, this product does not work

Proverbial lifesaver to Cosplayers.

Actually, these products did what they're supposed to do. However it seems that these products have a hidden potential will male and female cosplayers. Allow me to explain. During the convention one of my cosplay friends we're coming to me and they said that their hair was not working and one of them noticed the gel that you gave to me and a few hours later, came back to me and thanked me for having the styling gel and fibre paste. He was portraying a character with really spiky hair and the fibre paste was perfect. These fibre styling products were lifesavers to cosplayers.

I really liked this product. To be up front, I don't actually have any hair so I used the products on my 8 year old son who has the most stubborn hair I've ever seen. This product controlled his hair well, and didn't make it look wet. It was excellent.

It is probably a fine product. But I am u able to use hair products due to skin issues. Had I been aware the trial was for hair styling products I would not have signed up.

The paste is very strong and holds my hair together all day without me having to do any touch ups during the day. It doesn't have a strong smell either and is easy to wash. It is definitely a high quality product.

Light and Natural Styling

This quality fibre paste from L'Oreal Paris' Studio Line effectively provided a light and natural style that was long-lasting. Further to this, it had a very pleasant scent and did not leave much in the way of residue on my hands after styling. As such, I would strongly recommend this product to friends or family.

I liked the matte and paste better than gel as I have thin hair and it gives it a fuller look than gel. It still isn't perfect in regards to what I am looking for in a paste - minimal stuff and a full look.

The Paste works well and does what it is suppose to. I fully expected there to be a heavy residue on both my hands and hair but surprisingly there was not either. I love the convenience of a tube rather than digging into a tub.

Matte & Messy Paste Really Works!!!

The Matte & Messy paste product was my favorite. I was able to style my hair by simply adding in the product, and just using my fingers to style. My hair is fine, so this isn't always achievable, but this stuff did the trick. I was also able to add in the product and blow dry for a cleaner look as well... will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Long Lasting Hair Gel

What I enjoy about this product is that it is like a hybrid product that is somewhere between a gel & soft wax-based hair product. It comes out like a white cream/paste & not at all heavily scented at all. This gel dries quite quickly which makes it very easy to sculpt the hair style I want much better than other gels.
I've learned that this works well if I just work a small amount in my hands first to get a thin layer going & then applying to my hair for a more complete coverage. Applies nicely to dry hair & you may not even need to use a hair dryer as there is a lot of strength in the hold initially. I feel like this will hold up much better in humid environments & styling won’t fall flat at all with a good amount applied. This was surprisingly much better than gel products I've used in the past few years & easier to apply than soft waxes.

Needed very little of the product to achieve the hold I wanted for my hair. Doesn't leave my hair stiff and the product blends well into the hair. Don't need a lot of the product the day after either, I can re-style my hair with no problems and just apply a little bit of product for touching up the hair. Very good product doesn't leave your hands sticky either. Surprisingly good hair gel.

Good hold for short hair

I found came out of the container thick and white in my hands, but blended well in my hair. Stayed firm and didn't flake even after a full day's use. Wasn't shiny like I expected, but more matte. Found it held well - firm but did't leave my short hair overly-stiff. My hair stayed in place - stiff but not hard. Recommend it if you're looking for a medium to medium-heavy hold product but don't want the shine of a gel. Smelled, but not overly strong.

This product worked pretty well. Hold is good and it's not sticky or waxy. It did break down throughout the day, and get a bit flaky. I would consider this for a medium to strong hold product.

The good things about this product is the smell and the matte finish. I a happy and love the scent on this, I am expecting that, there will be heavy residue on both my hands and hair but surprisingly there was not either.It has a light, slightly sharp scent and not harsh or too strong for me. By using it on dry hair did have an initially stiff sensation but it softened without losing too much shape quite quickly.
I love the convenience of a tube rather than digging into a tub.Overall I love this product.

Perfect for a sculpted, shine free look. Works really well on my layered hair. It has a nice clean smell, that isn't overly strong which I really like and the product works as advertised. A little goes a long way and I like working it in while my hair is still damp to ensure even product distribution.
