Quick tip: consider buying 2 boxes if your hair are shoulder length or longer.

Prepare & set up your at-home studio

Once you are ready to dye your hair, it is important to set up an environment where you will be comfortable and have access to a water source. We recommend that your put aside any items that you could potentially stain, like hand/bath towels or bath mats. You should have a designated hair-dying towel, preferably an old towel you do not care about. Also, you should protect the surfaces where you will set down the hair dye components with paper towels or newspapers.

Ready to start your hair makeover

For your safety, we highly recommend that you do a skin allergy test, strand preview test and follow the instruction sheet accompanying the box prior to using the product on your full head.

You are now all set to start your colouring and follow those quick steps. Plan at least 1 hour to complete the full process.

Quick Preparation:

  1. Cover your shoulders with an old or dark towel and put the gloves available in the hair dye box.
  2. Pour the colorant into the developer bottle. Replace cap on the developer bottle.
  3. Shake well until the mixture is totally blended.

Colouring your hair:

  1. Choose between a Root application or an All-over application
    1. Root application: only if you colour your hair every 4-6 weeks with the same or similar shades
      1. Apply at the root area on dry, unwashed and detangled hair.
      2. Let the root area develop for 20 minutes.
      3. Apply remaining product through hair lengths and ends to refresh colour and massage hair gently.
      4. Let it develop for 10 minutes.
    2. All-over application: only if you have never coloured your hair (3 months or longer) or you want to go darker
      1. Apply at the root area on dry, unwashed and detangled hair.
      2. Immediately after the root area is covered, apply the remaining product through hair lengths and ends.
      3. Massage hair gently to saturate product.
      4. Let it develop for 30 minutes.

Rinse and condition:

  1. With gloves on, rinse gently with warm water to remove haircolour mixture.
  2. Spread accompanying after colour conditioner through hair and massage gently. Leave in for 2 minutes then rinse out.
  3. Blow dry and style as usual.

Note: developing time may change based on dye and shade level, always refer to the instruction sheet for best results.
