Diane Kruger's career began with The Piano Player, in 2002, with co-star Dennis Hopper. She then had roles in the French Films Mon Idole and Michel Vaillant. Diane Kruger left Germany in 1989 aged 13 to pursue her dream: to be a prima ballerina. She studied classical dance at the prestigious Royal School of Ballet in London but three years later, an injury put an end to her dancing career. On her return to Germany she became a model with Elite and travelled all over Europe.
