The secrets to a perfect shave, before and after!
It’s better to shave when you get out of bed than after work.
Shaving on tired skin is more likely to cause skin irritation and cuts so shaving after your morning shower is a definite must. Without turning your bathroom in to a sauna, know that steam opens your pores and softens facial hair. Use a shaving gel to stop the razor from hooking onto your skin and causing cuts. Regardless of whether you use a disposable, electric or straight razor, it’s best to shave in the same direction of the hair growth to avoid skin irritation and cuts. Be sure to rinse your face with cold water to close pores and keep skin firm. Also, don’t skip after-shave! It disinfects razor burn and soothes irritation.
