Collier Strong, world-renowned makeup artist, has used his gifts to enhance and illuminate the faces of Rosario Dawson, Milla Jovovich, Calista Flockhart, Diane Keaton, Marcia Cross, Sarah Chalke, Kate Beckinsale, Andie MacDowell and many more of the world's most beautiful women. Now, as L'Oréal's Cosmetics Expert, Collier is dedicated to making his brand of beauty - fresh, flawless, sophisticated - available to everybody.

"True beauty is about confidence," says Collier. "When people look beautiful, they feel good about themselves. (And) I always felt a strong desire to use my creativity to make that difference in people's lives."

Born and raised in Florida, Collier began his career as a hairstylist at his older sister's beauty salon, eventually opening his own establishment in West Palm Beach. That's when he began working with makeup, learning the basics of balance, design and form. Says Collier, "I realized then that …helping people improve their looks would enable them to view themselves in a different, more positive light."

Collier closed his business and moved to Los Angeles, where he developed a portfolio and signed with the prestigious Cloutier Agency, working with childhood idols Elizabeth Taylor and Raquel Welch along the way.

Now, in addition to his role as L'Oréal's cosmetics expert and product-development consultant, Collier works in Los Angeles and New York City as a makeup artist for print, film and television.
