Root Application Instructions

There’s been some time since you last coloured your hair and your roots have grown in. Your treated colour is slightly different from your roots. In order to achieve your Dream Colour, first you have to adjust the colour of your roots to match the rest of your hair.

  • Use the shade recommended
  • Mix haircolour according to directions included in the haircolour kit.
  • Apply mixture only to the new growth in the root area until it’s completely saturated.
  • Use some conditioner or some after-colour conditioner on the mid-length and ends of your hair to protect it from the haircolour mixture.
  • Set timer for the full processing time as indicated on the directions.
  • DO NOT ADD ANY HAIRCOLOR TO THE REST OF YOUR HAIR.
  • If haircolour accidentally gets on the mid-length or ends section of your hair, simply use a damp towel and remove it.
  • Once full processing time is up, rinse your hair thoroughly until water runs clear.
  • Apply after colour conditioner and rinse.
